I'm a little disappointed that out of all the scenarios they're including, only 1 is alliance vs horde.I was kinda hoping that scenarios would be these big "PVE Battlegrounds" where you could queue as horde and kill lots of alliance without having to actually do PVP. Like that example they provided at blizzcon, where one scenario consisted on alliance players, killing about 50 horde troops, burning down 2 horde towers, and finally slaying a horde general. I wanted scenarios like that.Instead 90% of the scenarios are neutral, and don't involve the alliance or horde at all. Only theramoore is the one faction-related scenario and its the one I don't wanna do. As alliance, all I'll see in there is the "new" Jaina (Which is just Sylvannas 2.0 we may as well get that out of the way) and as Horde, all I'll see is one of my favorite cities being burned to the ground.tsk tsk tsk. I would hope that scenarios for the next expansion give that alliance vs horde battle that I craved, but that's unlikely to happen. I don't see the war between the factions lasting more than this expansion pack.
Still early though Rank, entirely possible we'll see more 'War is declared' scenarios as the patches come.
What Adamsm said... and if you look at the last question's answer, I think the Alliance vs Horde scenarios will heap up more as the build up to killing Garrosh goes.Only problem I have with scenarios is that well, if I want to explore and try new tactics, will the random players I'm with let me? Or will they see me trying something new and immediately go "OMFG!@11! KIK TEH NOOB!" ?
Looks like WoW's trying very hard to compete with Guild Wars 2, given that all PvE content in GW2 will be set up like scenarios, except entirely open world and can influence the game's map.
One of the features I'm most excited about in MoP. Get a couple of guildies and down a couple of Scenarios. Sounds good to me. 3 Healers might have a tough time though :)Cheers.
