Wow, at first I was like Farmville, I'm ok with this. It's not Farmville though, it's Harvest Moon. That's so much better - I really can't wait for this. I just hope you can eventually make the farm bigger, or that they add to this in future patches.
I already have a job, thanks.
Actually it is truly fun. I'm playing with beta (Thanks to the Wowhead), I love it. Dailies are more fun than before and farming has its charm. I highly recommend to level up your cooking (and fishing) 'til MoP. This will be fun.
forget Farmville anyone remember R.I.P Twinkle and it was Plagued corn and pumpkins and they fought back they were introducing this it is good in beta aswell so it should be even better when it launches also we get a lucky Red Cricket companion off Sho and if you dont like it after trying it theres another way to gain rep Handins of Darksoil to several NPCS that you make friends with
Luna the cat? Sailor Moon Reference! xD I love Blizz and their easter eggs! This looks fun, I enjoyed Harvest Moon so I should get enjoyment form this too! Although as a time sink it will have to wait until I have a lot of other stuff out of the way.
I wonder if the Taurens herb bonus will help at all here. Like could we pick the farm faster or get more items from the garden or what. i am looking forward to doing this. i have done cooking on all 10 of my toons and have 3 different herbers lol. Thanks for the cool idea Blizz!
I think a lot of people are going to make rare spawn hunting a part of their gameplay at least through the entire first tierUntil people start crying and Blizzard buckles as always.I'm still not entirely convinced they'll go ahead with the guard nerfs on PvP realms to allow some proper WPvP.It'll cause so much crying, and they know it, since that's how it always is: for some inexplicable reason some players think they "should be allowed to quest in peace" on PvP realms. As much as I dislike to continue this offtopic, it's disgusting to see how a pessimist like you would spit on everything for the sake of spitting. The RPG part was explained, so I would like to add about PvP.For some inexplicable reason some players think that if they are not allowed to dominate(using the polite word) others, it's bad. What separates PvE realm and PvP realm, is that on PvE realm a low level retard would have to first attack a high level retard ganker who flies over the questing area, to be further killed over and over. On PvP realm, however, it is the high level retard ganker who can attack anything and at will, because it is PvP.But as you were asked if you had any idea what RPG stands for, so I would ask - do you know what PvP stands for? Player vs player, right? Do you get the versus word? It does not stand for Ganking vs Questing. Nor does it stand for Killing for the sake of killing. It's not players' trouble that ever since Hillsbrad-like scenarios they have NOT developed a fitting reason for people to fight in the world. (No, TBC does not count)(Yes, they promise it for is in MoP). If a player is questing - he is question first of all. Okay, he will see another quester. He will fight. He will die. He wants to proceed - no, he gets killed again. Or no, he kills. Then he sees a high level main that wants to take his rightful revenge. Where is the sense? Before anyone starts to call me a PvP loser or failed quester, ease yourselves. I do not quest, nor do I PvP. I just bring the logical facts that used to see\\hear\\experience.And after all, why do you care that much about realm type? I joined a PvE realm, because I wanted to avoid all above stated issues. Then, times and times after, I understand that human's psychology is simple. If you can kill - it's fun. Not otherwise. So if there is a populated or skilled realm - it IS supposed to be PvP. I could care less, I aim for raids. But if I need to do a quest there - I would have to adjust to said psychology. Only because you think it's right. No way, I am not right. But are you?
Everyone at the moment should take a Good look at The Timbermaw Tribe doing the Felwood Quests (epic questline)starting at lvl 45 if they have any doughts about mop this should be great
Haters will compare it to farmville, lovers will compare it to harvest moon.Personally I'm in the latter. Simply because something is related to farming doesn't mean it's crap, if you don't like the Harvest Moon series that's fine, but just because it's cool to hate on casual facebook games like Farmville doesn't mean all farming games suck.L2insult better kthx
I think the vanity items will go well with my druid. Visual trees and scarecrows and stuff.
Doesn't look like farmville to me. Just some stuff to do like the current Fishing and Cooking dailies. Why not Farming dailies? It looks great.Cheers.
will it be phased sort of like how in firelands the tree grows but apply here like you get a bigger farming area and more stuff gets added the more you complete?

Why cater to your typical RPG player when you can create a social media level "game" with the immersion level of a Facebook app that will attract 1000 times more people than the originally intended demographic?this seems like a really stupid comment. hardcore raiding has not been replaced with literal farming, or pet battles. I suspect you should probably read more wowhead if you think otherwise. This is additional content that you're not forced to do as a hardcore raider, or if you're in to hardcore PvP
Hum... I would love that they created Poker ingame, as an option to win/lose some gold :D It would be pretty nice ^^
I'm just tired of WoW not doing the things we want - like balancing PvP, for example, and making an entire expansion most people seemed not to enjoy - and instead trying to make it so no one ever plays a game except for WoW. Blizz should be focusing more on the things they used to do right - like Warcraft. Leave Farmville and Pokemon to their creators.

What in the name of everything dark and shadowy is an undead affliction warlock going to be doing planting cabbage?FEL FARTS!HA
Harvest Moon was my first thought as well. Also a bit of an Animal Crossing vibe. I may never leave this place =D
