Only buying the digital edition. I have no interest in The Box.
It has already been taken down, and I will be buying the physical collector's edition, just because I love the art books and the behind the scenes stuff. If all you want are the digital pets, then by all means, but unless the Physical CE doesn't have the pets, I'm getting the physical version. No question.
I'll definitely be buying the physical Collectors Editions. I like me my game boxes.
I personally have bought every CE from vanilla to cata, so I will be getting it for MoP as well. My wife would love this though, as all she cares about is the ingame pet. Seems like a smart idea for those who don't care about the physical items.
And what if the digital deluxe version is :1. Preinstall ready to go update2. Digital pets and mounts3. Physical box delivered to your door with the normal collectors stuffMaybe we will hear more soon TM
I will be getting the physical copy. I prefer owning the version that I can actually hold in my hands when it comes to Games and Music (screw DVDs, their covers are always boring and sameish)I also always like the boxes for WoW. Nice art, not cheap looking, looks great all lined up on my shelf :3Not sure whether I will be getting the CE edition or not. I haven't really looked into it. If it has some physical extras with it like an art book, soundtrack etc. then I will go all out. Never bought a WoW CE before. If I can't get hold of a physical CE then I would probably buy the normal copy from the shop but buy the CE digitally for the extras (I guess they will never run out unless they decide to add a download limit) that way I get the best of both world.
Will probably buy the digital version using my Battle.net Balance.Saves me the pain of travelling all the way to the store and back!
I'll probably go physical. Got big boxes for TBC, Wrath, and Cata, why not add another to the collection?I'd have added classic to the collection if it wasn't so damn expensive. And if I'd not waited a couple months after launch to buy the game.
I will likely still get the physical box but the decision will be made harder depending on a few things. Mostly just the cost and what all comes in the physical edition. The art books, tcg, and behind the scenes stuff is cool and I usually look through all but the dvd's. IMO the tcg stuff should be loot packs instead of a standard deck. Also it will make a huge difference on if there is anything special included in the physical CE. I'm talking about something like the Diablo skull and Flash drive that was in the D3 CE. If I can get a statue or something "cool" then I'll go for the physical one even if it costs more.I'm sure I'll get a CE regardless of it being physical or digital though. Even if the draw of mounts aren't the same now that all are account wide. Not even sure if I want the pet as I already have 160+ that I'll be hard pressed to make time to use/level.
I have the collector's edition for every expansion and I plan on buying the MoP CE as well. I love the special CE pets, but the behind the scenes dvds and art books are what really does it for me!
i dont really want the collectors edition. the mount and pet look wierd.i was thinkin on gettin it for my pandarian monk but it just doesnt look that great.
This would be wonderful for two-player households--my mate and I both want the collector's edition, but we really only need one copy of the art book, making of DVD, et cetera--the digital rewards are the other big enticement, and if we can get one CE and one DDE, it would hopefully be easier on our collective pocketbooks. >:3
I'm confused, would this be just for people in the beta?
I'll always get the physical one. :PArtbook, soundtrack, big ridiculous box....
I suppose that depends on what comes in the CE this time around. I'll probably do the digital CE and just download the soundtrack on iTunes or something since that's really the only reason outside of the pet that I'd ever get a CE. There'd have to be something extra awesome in there to make me want the physical copy.
Ehhhh. To do it or not...
