And to the rest of the WoW community, you may be at ease knowing that one more person like me is no longer amongst your ranks. And nothing of value was lost. Seriously dude, if you've been college aged and never been under the influence of something, I don't know what to say. Furthermore, the Asian aspect has nothing to do with pandering to younger culture, they did Egypt, Britain, even New Jersey and all of this was this Xpac. By the way, warrior monks come from the East you sillypoo.I love the streaks, WTB streaks for other races, NAO
Well, this blue haired chick for one, loves the new colors that will, hopefully, be optional. Guess my uncultured ass will be sitting over here picking my toons style for even longer on the creation screens now. *fistshake* damn you blizz. Just shut up and take my money. You sound like a friend of mine in California. Except she rides (and writes about) motorcycles instead of playing WoW.
Each side has said ridiculously foolish statements. The first guy overreacted and described outlandish things. Then:People saying "If you don't like it, find another game" somehow don't understand differing opinions and "customer feedback." People saying "troll" to the first person obviously don't understand the definition of troll. It's using subtlety to infuriate without the other party knowing you're doing it. Not just a different opinion than yours. That being said, although I personally won't be using them, the hair stripes aren't any more ridiculous than the colorful hairstyles of the other races.
So i guess there will other changes to the older races once they get updated as well? that will be interestingThough i wish for some more hairstyles to choose from on male pandaren
I did see a picture of a female pandaren with reddish hair with a black streak -- I'd think that would mean the streak area has an option to be black. If they give an option to blend in with the red hair, too, then folks who want plain hair will be set. :)
I really like this. It's fun and that's what wow is all about. I hope it does become optional and it would be nice to see it on other female races - especially trolls :-) now that would be fun!ZVictor - you really need to find a different game. Although I do listen to my rock music loudly (you cant listen to rock quietly, thats just wrong) I am NOT and NEVER HAVE BEEN under the influence of ANY drugs whatsoever as I would imagine 99% of the players of wow are not or never have been under the influence of drugs. This is a GAME - games meaning fun, maybe you should find a dictionary and look up the meaning sometime.
Hmm. Though Im not sure about this one. Having highlights might seem out of place, but hey, Im not going to worry about it. :)
Seriously? Trying to run more people off of WoW? Because it's working....
To me they look kinda out of place on the panda but fit in with the hairstyles... If you get what I mean. Would be nice to see this sort of thing on other races. Not really with Nelf, they need other style options imo than more colours.Wow, I didn't know having coloured hair promoted drugs. I'd better be careful the next time I dye mines. My niece might be influenced. <_< Also if people don't like it then... don't use it? I'm sure this sort of thing is optional.Saying all that if I pick one for my panda it'll be the black or silver one as the others clash a bit too much. Blue if I'm going for a black hairstyle.
I agree, not a big fan of the streak, but like others say it would be cool to have regular full hair color available too. Either way I guess its available for those who want it though, but doesn't really go with lore style imo.
Looks great, can't wait to see the male haircuts aswell!
I find this to be an exciting turn. It adds a bit more customization and uniqueness to some one's character. As this is still in beta, it will most likely get it's own selection button and what not so you can change it or take it off as you see fit. (Plus, it will probably be available to you at the barber shops!)I'm also hoping this will be available for other races as well. I'd love for my red haired blood elf guy to have some other colors in with his red locks. It's just one step closer to such things as tattoos and scars and other possible customizations in this game, and I think it's a step in the right direction! While some people obviously will find these things offensive or childish, it's merely subjective. You don't HAVE to like a bit of flare or color. You most likely don't even HAVE to get it yourself! As for me, I'm hoping for some colorful hair and possible hairstyles to make my character as much my own as possible.
Hm, I´m not convinced yet. They look kinda... not completed, like they coloured some random bits of hair, just to take a first look on how it works. (Not all of course. Only those little fiddly bits in the front. They still look to random to me.) And to me some colours are a bit to bright, shiny and neony to really fit. Don´t get me wrong, I like the general idea very much, I think it´s awesome, but it still looks... even to unfinished for beta.
Is it just me or is the panda females ridiculously cute?
Remove pandas and give us something really interesting!
Is it just me or do those "neon hair streaks" look ridiculous?^^this
I don't like this hear streakes and the earrings look bad too.If they are optional, everithing is ok, if not, then i will life with it, there is no other way :)
They need to texture those better, but otherwise I think they're cute.Jaina's, now, hers looks stupid as balls just because of the way the underlying polygon model and general texture of her hair is. She looks like one of the Misfits; I keep wanting to give her a key-tar. (Yeah I watched a ~*girly cartoon*~ as a kid, so what, it made me the fabulous person I am today! :D)The older character models desperately need updating, though, so Jaina lookin' like she should be going for martini manicures with Pizzazz on the weekend (not like there's anything wrong with that) is just a symptom of that.WTB hotfix polygon uppings for all the pre-Cata old models pl0x, as well as better textures on the streaks? That'd win at life.
I just feel the hair a little going overboard as far as minor customization is concerned since the choices for coloring really don't mesh well with the palette of the origins. If they were more natural colors rather than a more anime inspired choice, I think I would have little issue with them.
To all the people who think these are horrible, which I don't, has no one thought to where a Helmet? Such a simple solution that could solve all of the hater's problems.
