Why remove HGWT? All that will do is make the game more boring (more travel & waiting time). With HGWT I tend to race to the raid and summon everyone. Before HGWT all that would get me was having to wait for #2 (which would take AGES), so I usually waited to be summoned while AHing / fishing etc, making it take even longer to get started. Returning to that is like removing LFD, readding ammo etc.
I think it was a nice feature for when a random raid group is made and half the people don't know where the entrances are (including myself) even after doing research on the raid. Not to mention that half the people don't look at what you typing to them when you are trying to explain where the entrance is (myself is NOT included here).
Questions about BOA pants - does this means that we'll be able to buy those even if not in guild?Since it says that they are available for free nowNo; that's just in Beta. More then likely the pants are going to be tied to a Guild Level, just like the Helm and Cloak.Warlocks are going to be useful again, in regards to their very ignored skill that disappeared all during Cata.I've noticed this. Standing in front of Alizabal and people are complaining about summons, and then someone runs to the front of the instance to use HGWT. Like, seriously? There are 2 locks standing RIGHT HERE...Heh yeah I know; I've seen that in Transmog runs too on Live.
Lazy players are ALWAYS going to be lazy.It was the worst in lichking and the weekly raid boss runs if it was Nax or OS.80% of the people recruited were sitting in dalaran doing f**k all but were the first to say summon me.They hated it when I ran those."Can I get a summon?""No, you can fly for a minute like the rest of us.""Just summon me!"*kicked from group*So the removal of HGWT isnt going to change anything. Lazy is still going to be lazy.
With the removal of HGWT, putting up a portal to Stonard just before EoE opens for Hagara just became a LOT funnier...
I agree there are lazy raiders out there - but this was great when running old stuff. You realize now people will be asking questions like:1. I can't find Naxx - where is it? (look up)2. How do I get into AQ 40? (it's on the right)etc.Let's not forget people - there are summoning stones at each of the raids still. Just gotta have a friend...who knows how to click. Sigh...now we have to remind people to click.
With the removal of HGWT, putting up a portal to Stonard just before EoE opens for Hagara just became a LOT funnier...Yeah Portal Roulette will be back in force.
Are people really crying about losing HGWT? Seriously, if you can't be bothered to fly to the instance, you shouldn't be doing it at all. What are you realistically going to be doing anyway while you wait for someone's HGWT? Sit in a main city. You going to be raiding anyway, so what's the point in waiting for someone to get there to summon? Just all go at around the same time and it won't make a difference. Oh, waahhh wahhh, I have to fly a minute or two to the instance. Get up, stretch, get a snack or something and stop complaining. HGWT is definitely not an "essential" part of the game, as it was only implemented in Cata.Slightly Faster Flight Path? WTH, does anyone above level 60+ use a Flight Path ever? The point of the perk is to get people to use the flight paths more, and since you're going to have to use them to get to raids, unless you just send two people to use the stone, this'll make it less painful for you people whining, (even though it really isn't a big deal).Part of this game is adventuring, so damn it, go adventure.
=( so much talk about Dks and not one mention as to why they had to kill our level 90 talents. In their current form, they are beyond useless for PVE-exclusive Dks.If the other classes can have DAMAGING level 90 talents, why can't we? I want my remorseless winter back T_T give it back!
I dont see how people say using HGWT is lazy. Its a very useful tool that speeds up getting a raid together. Same thing with mass rez, it moves stuff along so we dont waste time doing something not actually furthering our goals. As for the guy who wont summon people to his raid for no reason I can see, thats just being an ass plain and simple, and anyone kicked from your raid is lucky to not have to deal with that nonsense.
Warlocks are going to be useful again, in regards to their very ignored skill that disappeared all during Cata. That's a good point. I never really though of that, although I personally use the stones myself, on the account of not having the perk.(On another random note, I like the new healthstones)
Our raid group doesn't have any warlocks.Hell, our guild basically doesn't have any warlocks. I can think of 2 or 3 never-played alts.It probably will continue having no warlocks, with or without guild perk. We'll just end up using meeting stones like we did in Wrath. We have lazy raiders. They were lazy before Cataclysm, and they'll continue being lazy even after Cataclysm.Hence I agree with the sentiment that "lazy will always be lazy".I realize the argument is that having the mass summon or mass res made people lazier, but not having it certainly won't make lazy people un-lazy, unfortunately.
We survived without Have Group, Will Travel for a long time, and I'm sure we'll be fine without it again. Honestly, the only time it was ever useful was to save a few minutes of flight that people were too lazy to do. I'm almost always the first one to arrive at the raid anyway, so as soon as someone else shows up, we click summoning stone. It's not like the game got a million times harder and all of the clicking will be agony. And if you think "all that traveling is boring," maybe you shouldn't be playing MMOs, since games like this are mostly about exploring and adventure. If you want everything to be done for you, do LFR, lolz.So Thundering Cloud Serpent is a Guild reward. I heard that the Red Cloud Serpent is an achievement reward for Glory of the Pandaria Raider/Dungeon. The rest are reputation + the one you raise, and that leaves Astral Cloud Serpent.I'm crossing my fingers that it will be a 125/150 mount reward to match the Celestial Dragon pet. I've been waiting forever to see some kind of reward for all of the hard work I've been doing. I also hope they don't stop at 125 if they do.(No, it's not too soon for them to make that achievement. It's long overdue.)
Anyone able to tell me if our toons will need to discover the dungeon entrance locations before we can queue up for them in Mists like we had to at the start of Cata?
While there are no new guild levels,The article's Feat of Strengths tab needs to be updated to reflect this; it currently has listed.
How many members can you have it your guild? Is it still 1000? If so they need to increase it as lots will want pandas now. We will need room for more members. Raise to 3000, I think that is a good number.
