Love it!Great addition Blizz :)
Hmmmm, but this item recovery has always been available (subject to GM benevolence), it's just the mechanics that have changed? And at the vendor, you've even got a grace period after you've logged off, to log back on and buy items back.Frankly, I'd rather be able to recover all those lovely quest rewards that were either ignored or sold because they were useless without transmogrification.Meh.
Is it only for a USA license? I couldn't find the article in Europe Battle.net
<I>...everyone had different stories involving the kindness of Blizzard's GMs.Well, that's officially a thing of the past now! Need we say more?
I'll have to read up on it, but is it calendar days or 30 days from the time you use it and it begins the 30 day reset?
Blizzard are trying to reduce the amount of work they need to do, to increase the time it takes for them to reply to In-game tickets. In all honesty it's a fantastic idea, with their recent layoffs the In-game Tickets have had redicolous time periods... Varying between 2-7days, which in some cases can be far too long.A 30day Cooldown is also a great time period for this utility, it will stop people from abusing the tool and allow people to really think about using the restore on petty stuff or holding onto it for situations were either mistakes or unforseen events occur.Hopefully this is the beginning of some more In-game self support which will increase the time our "emergency" tickets are responded too! =)
Great news :-D.I will only hope, that this will also be able for EU people. That isn't supported yet I think...
They probably did this to lessen the burden after eliminating a bunch of support positions:http://www.wowheadnews.com/blog=201191/blizzard-lays-off-600-employees
A few people keep suggesting that this is a single item: It's one time per month, but it presents a menu of all of your items back some period of time. You can restore all of those items. So, if you had a crappy LFD group and sold all your tank gear out of frustration, when you come to your senses the next day you could recover it all in one go. (or maybe not "come to your senses" as much as forget the pain and suffering.)
This is pretty cool, I have to say.
How will it work? Will we get a list of available items for us to restore?
I like this. I like this a lot.
A nice new instant recovery feature for those who occasionally slip with the mouse or keyboard. It's one of those things they do that make you wonder, "Why did it take them so long to do this?".
Looks like u can only recover items lost/sold/etc in 2012 , no item from 2008-2009-2010-2011 soh its prety useless for me
Would this include items lost in the mail?
I hope so. I've probably lost more of mine than I like to admit..
