So mages don't get a reward from The Death of Me? Not even to sell or DE? Anyone know if you get bonus gold if that happens?
there is nothing more i hate than getting a quest reward i cannot use at all. like cloth or plate when i am mail etc.... i imagine this will take some time to fully implement but i like this idea.
i have 5 enchanters all loomed 4 of these lvling up and this is going to take twice aslong to get the mats needed the same will go for alot of enchanters
So...is blizz pretty much saying that only people who buy the annual pass will get a beta invite? not people that didnt buy it, cause i use game cards for my account.. but i would like to play beta.
Undead magical mechanical... I feel like that will common lol...
i have been a anual pass user for over 4 months now and stilll havent recieved my beta key! guesss they just forgot about me!
This is for me something like the best feature Pandaria has to offer, because I've gathered quite alot pets and wanna do something with em probably going with my phoenix pet from Magisters terrace ty ty ty so far!
400,000 invites? Now i understand why i keep getting the "Can't connect atm... try again later.
The dynamic quest rewards do look promising, but I really hope this isn't the finished model yet. A few examples that I think would be reason for some more tweaking:- a Druid sees the 1H mace on Wowhead as reward for The Death of Me. He thinks it looks really nice, maybe it's even a rather unique mace model, and he wants to use it for transmogrification. But he can't select it, because it has strength on it. (a possible solution to this would be to ensure that unique weapon/armour models are never used for dynamic quest rewards, so that not being able to get it from quest A isn't so bad - just go do quest B, or grind dungeon C)- a (ele/resto) Shaman has done The General's Edge and knows from a caster friend that it rewards a nice int staff. However, upon completing the quest she sees that she can only choose a MH mace. This could be an issue if the Shaman has no shield to go with it, or just prefers to use staves.- much like the Shaman, a resto Druid having completed that same quest will not be able to select the 1H healer mace, and instead is forced to go with the staff.- a Mage who has enchanting just finished The Death of Me, but doesn't get to select an item reward. Her Monk friend, also an enchanter, did get a reward, and has some more mats. There are more quests like this, leaving the Mage behind on levelling enchanting compared to the Monk. (a possible solution to this would be to either provide classes missing out like this with an alternative, such as a few extra gold pieces, or to implement some more choices so that no class is left without an item reward)In the case of the latter, I know that there's other ways to obtain such mats, but that's not the point. People will feel impaired if they miss out on things just because they happen to be class x, and will complain as a result of it. Also, I know I'm basing my examples off 2 starterarea quests that have rewards that don't really matter, are replaced soon enough, are pretty decent for levelling, etc. But keep in mind that there's a very likely possibility this system will also be implemented in later quests, which reward gear that are very suitable for gearing up for heroics. And then people will definitely start complaining about these restrictions.
"Dragonkin -- ExecuteDeals 50% additional damage to targets with less than 25% health."dragonSKIN...would make sense to add a dmg reduce effect... but well blizzard up the game anyways...and i like how not a single blue post tells about the extra charackter slots...still going to be 10 chars per realm? if , then cata was my last expansion to waste money on.
Like the look of the pet battles stuff, although i think the Undead ability needs to be adjusted. They come back for one round, whaereas the Mechanicals come back to life (assumedly with no duration) and 25% health. Seems like Mechanical has an immediately power creep ability over Undead. Also hoping the list is in progress, some classes are under represented and far too few existing pets are on that list. Not to mention some of the announced world pets are also not on the list;Dynamic rewards are going to be interesting. When they say 'Fun' items will be available to all, i have to question who decides what is fun. I also agree that Transmog might be restricted a bit by this..
