I thought they said these were going to be utility-only, so there wouldn't be any instances of "you must give your Symbiosis to this class/spec or you're wrong."Yet, I can easily see where the case will be made that "You must give your Symbiosis to the tank (or other tank if you're a bear) or you're wrong." What were they thinking giving Blood DKs Might of Ursoc and Brewmaster Monks Savage Defense? Prot Paladins get barkskin and Prot Warriors get Frenzied Rejuv. Of course every druid will be giving these defensive abilities to the tank. No question.Unless this changes, Symbiosis will be something you cast on the MT (or OT if you're MT) and don't give a second thought.
No seal form? And Lol at "Play Dead." Feral's getting their good threat drop at last...(too late lol)why not?
This ability seems extremely overpowered compared to every other class' new spell(s). Some of the number would have to be reduced by 50-75% to make this spell balanced.
me to its like one of those things covered under druid spell guifr
balance: Interveneguardian: bone shield, Life Tapresto: Icebound Fortitudei don't get this onesvery short unsupported answerBone Shield 10% damage reduction for 3 attacks sounds OK depending on what your tanking, AMS might make the other tanks upsetIcebound Fort sounds great for a resto druid in PVPIntervene might have some limited use in pvp but there's better optionsLifetap seems out of place but this is still early in the beta you cant make any real decisions.
Ferals Druids can have Wolves?Looking forward to become a Worgen Druid and have my own pack!
I don't play a mage so i don't know how much of a dps increase Mirror Image is but i know its something.Tiny, like 1500 dmg every 2-3 seconds... it's very marginal. They're more of a distraction and target-switch.
The thing that sucks about it is that it all depends on who you have in your group. You have to be in a party/raid with them, they supposedly can't go too far away from you, etc. If you don't have someone with you or w/e Druids have nothing at 87.
I shall finally be able to tank on my rogue, even if only for 3 seconds
I shall finally be able to tank on my rogue, even if only for 3 seconds330% extra armor for 30 seconds isn't bad...
Really? Dash? Thats what I get as any kind of hunter? What a let down.Actually, I think it kind of fits. I'm certainly looking forward to having dash on my hunter :) It could be amazingly useful in PvP, if you get hit with Cheetah on and it goes on cooldown, this could be a very good escape method.I can see numerous other glyphs that are superior to the Cheetah one. Also, there's far more practical escape mechanisms. On the other hand, I will say the Dash is handy, although I can think of a couple other abilities Hunters could inherit instead too.
Is it just me or the hunters drew the short strawNo, that's at least useful for getting out of the poop. Rogues get an ability that actively kills them (a taunt? Honestly?).
Holy Paladins get a Battle Rez, that's cool, and makes sense as wellProt Paladins get Barkskin so they'll get it in most raid groups.I wonder what Ret Paladins wind up with.
Is it just me or the hunters drew the short strawNo, that's at least useful for getting out of the poop. Rogues get an ability that actively kills them (a taunt? Honestly?).The initial taunt is a little weird to me but the 330% armor increase for 30 seconds is nice for rogues in melee situations.
Little weird? It's perfect for sticky situations when tank dies.
Is it just me or the hunters drew the short strawNo, that's at least useful for getting out of the poop. Rogues get an ability that actively kills them (a taunt? Honestly?).Hahaha no. The taunt has no effect in PvP but the armor bonus does, and honestly if you think the Rogue is gonna die in the 3 seconds the taunt is up with that ridiculous armor bonus...It's a decent bit of utility, to be honest.
It's a good thing Blizzard added in this ability. This way we can at least ensure a 1:1 ratio between the Druids and the Druid Support Classes (everyone else).
Those complaining about the hunters getting dash.. uh it's another freedom for 15 seconds, looks good to me lol.
Wow... this was kinda what I was looking for ..... new Druid spells especially defensive ones. I play a Resto Druid and I didn't feel like we have enough defensive abilities usable not in bear form. Like priests have PW: Shield and stuff.
Rogues get 30 sec. bear form buff regardless of spec....I hope this changes.
