Course: Introduction to the Dark Arts
Instructor Chillheart journeyed from Northrend to teach aspiring necromancers discipline, harshly punishing those who disappoint her. She commands the icy chill of the north and masterfully uses Scholomance's libraries to deadly effect.
Course: Advanced Illusions
Barov's spirit lurked in the recesses of Scholomance for years, but now she has taken a more active role in educating the next generation of magi. Her vast knowledge of illusions has made her both a valued educator and a dangerous opponent to anyone foolish enough to draw her ire.
In Heroic difficulty, defeating the wrong image causes a Flash Bang, inflicting 97500 to 102500 Arcane damage to all enemies.
Course: Reanimation 101
Rattlegore was thought to have been destroyed in Andorhal, but Gandling immediately began preparations to reanimate the clattering terror so he could guard against intruders. The Darkmaster sought to make Rattlegore more ferocious than ever, imbuing him with an insatiable desire to harvest raw materials from his enemies.
The undead Lilian Voss strangled her father--a high priest of the Scarlet Crusade--for treachery, and then started a rampage that eventually led her into the shadowy corridors of Scholomance. Rather than destroy the intruder, Darkmaster Gandling graciously decided to show Voss how to embrace her grim fate. The anger and runeblades she had once directed at the school are now turned toward Gandling's enemies.
Course: Advanced Studies
The recent defeat in Andorhal has put Darkmaster Gandling in the foulest of moods. More than ever, all students of Scholomance are advised to impress him at every turn. Pupils who dissatisfy the headmaster will be removed from class to perform lab work... or become lab work.
Even the npcs know T5 is the best set out there. :P
this is great just awesome
I just hope Lilian doesn't die.She is an epic NPC!And lookie here... another NPC with a female Lich model. Yay!
If you're interested in the matching armor sets for transmog--better do it now. It looks like those six mini-bosses are removed.Already on that :] Have 3/5 pieces.
I am looking forward to the new PvE... Yes I said PvE. And I am looking forward to the new pet combat, and the farming.
The first room didn't always use to be completely useless. There was a time where you had to kill the Succubus in the back of the room to get the blood needed to summon the first boss. But it was dropped as well by the butcher at the end. It's the same kind of thing with Rattlegore, you had to kill him to get into the last room. But for that matter a lot of bosses were skippable here; the basement, the succubus, ras the frostwhisperer, the entire student room...
"More compact" I beg that this doesn't mean "straight line" like the 4.3 dungeons
The teleportation that Gandling may be doing in MoP was something he was already doing. Most dungeon groups were just too op with boas/enchants to ever let him do it though.
i am looking forward to being able to run all the redone instances.
RIP Ras Frostwhisper, the only lich to be turned into 'human flesh' in game
Can't wait to try it out myself. I hope they didn't change to much though.Btw - any chance you would get us some info on the pet battle system? If it's up yet.
How do you guys not know how to stop auto attacking so the boss doesn't die so quickly?
i always thought it was pronounced showlo-mance not skoolo-mance
After studying this video, I believe that Rattlegore's buff increases with each successful melee strike. It seems like every time he actually connected while you were kiting, it would increase, whereas when he didn't connect is when the debuff finally dropped. This would definitely make it a sort of enrage timer when done at-level, and especially on heroic.
The lich is female - escapes to her phylactery.
"Darkmaster Gandling yells: AGGRO "lol.Good thing that's a placeholder.Anyway, Lilian Voss better not die like that or heads will roll. The quest chain showed pretty clearly that one does not simply KILL Lilian Voss. She's too much of a badass.
Seriously? More "revamped" content? Blizzard you're either slipping or just lazy. The reason we buy expansions is because we're ready to see new content, not just higher level mobs in dungeons we've been in thousands of times before if you've played since the beginning. I can understand reworking them for lower levels, like in the newer versions of Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep, keeping them in the same level range, but showing progression of time. But at higher levels, I don't want to go right back to where I was when I was starting out. Been there, done that, next please. I was on the fence about the expansion to begin with, but if this is any indication of the Warcraft to come, no thank you.
