Those taurens look really gr8! I cant w8 to kill some !
Now if only they'd work on improving that graphics quality of WoW which they clearly are not looking at the first screenshot. Higher Poly Models for older stuff are essential (TBC for example), and even the community have several times over offered to do massive texture work for a HD Texture Pack that Blizzard wouldn't allow. My X-53 looks like its a 64x64 pixel texture :( - Next MMO that's WoW but not made by Blizzard and I'll jump ship. Its the least they can do, considering the rest of this expansion pack is just them trying to capture the market they've constantly failed to establish WoW in. (Asia-markets)
Its the least they can do, considering the rest of this expansion pack is just them trying to capture the market they've constantly failed to establish WoW in. (Asia-markets)They've said the original races are going to be getting an upgrade; but they don't want to make the game too graphical heavy, since they still want as many people playing as possible without needing the player base to all upgrade to super high end machines.
They've said the original races are going to be getting an upgrade; but they don't want to make the game too graphical heavy, since they still want as many people playing as possible without needing the player base to all upgrade to super high end machines. They don't need to sacrifice the ability for low end machines. The engine has already been upgraded to support the graphic updates. The easiest route would be separate download for above a certain quality. (So High Resolution Textures and Higher Resolution Models) Like the 64-bit Client at the moment, it could be a extra option that users can chose to download on top of WoW so the main download isn't larger. And the community has already offered to re-make the textures used in all Vanilla area's, Blizzard out-right said No every time on the forums. On top of that its just little oversights. Compare the fire/lava in Ironforge to Mount Hyjal and other newer area's. And a very less extreme version of the drunk effect would be amazing to have as a option, it would really emphasize the graphics style WoW has IMO.WoW needs to evolve to the ever changing expectations of gamers, as varied as that is. They've made a fine job at creating a game engine that can scale immensely between low-end and high-end hardware, its a shame they don't fully take advantage of this.I do honestly look forward to MoP my self anyway, it looks like it'll add a lot more diversity into the game, I just don't want to see the only MMO i've ever managed to enjoy being shutdown due to not evolving with the times :(
I just don't want to see the only MMO i've ever managed to enjoy being shutdown due to not evolving with the times :(Lol, if Runescape(which made an upgrade from 2d to barely 3d) and Everquest can keep going.....I think WoW's current graphics are safe.
Woww ! New Tauren -- blue one . Must be gorgeous .But personally like more pervious one than the new one -- Only according to this screenshot !
I love the Dungeon Challenge feature. The idea of standardizing the gear is brilliant. Now, when you are comparing to other players, it will be the players you have to compete against, not the gear. Can't Wait! KDK
I'm still on the fence about the whole Pandaren-as-a-playable-race thing, but Blizzard has surprised me in the past so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. The artwork I've seen so far looks very impressive. I'm hoping it will help return some of the immersion that has slowly been degrading with each new expansion.
