I really wish they'd fix the Deck Fire bug on Heroic Warmaster Blackhorn... makes it almost impossible to tell where it's safe to stand since the fire never leaves even after being extinguished.
Speriamo facciano un buon lavoro di traduzione, senza esagerare sotto alcuni aspetti.Sarà interessante vedere come vorranno rispecchiare accenti diversi nella versione in inglese.Just hope they're not overdoing with the translation work.It will be interesting to see how they're going to retain some of the speaking differences and accents of the original version.
Ty Blizz but i'm too addicted to "I need to get Closer" to change into "Devo stare più vicino" :)
Good news for koper :D
I don't speak Italian at all. However, I still think that voice over in the Italian trail totally kicks butt. Didn't understand a word of it but it made the trailer so much cooler than the original English version.Makes me want to learn Italian.
"hurlevent" (stormwind) or "La Fossoyeuse" (undercity) are beautiful french adaptations and not literal translation. I love how blizzard was creative and respectful of french traditions to names town and villages and still keeping the coherence in name settings. Paluns (the wetlands) is latin root for "paludisme" , marsh in latin.hurlevent is an invented world in an old classical novel (it means "scream wind" )"Fossoyeuse" is "gravedigger", but it's not a word you use everyday, it has a "gothic" feel.
English spells names sounds better than Spanish spells.
Italian version, pretty kewl. Will Snooki be a raid boss?
Are they gonna dub the vocals aswell? I was in Italy around when The Bodyguard was the major blockbuster, my broh and i was in a store, and they were watching The Bodyguard. Man it was freaking funny to hear Kevin Costner with a deep deep bass and Whitney Houston sounding like a squeeky toy.
Wow that's pretty ironic. The second page of this is apparently only "available in English." (And I fixed it by posting here)
Blizzard dishes out an italian localization the same month I officially quit playing? Way to troll me Blizzard >.<The problem (in videogames, at least) is that while we italians pretty much kick world asses with dubs, when it comes to translate text we tend to have... not so good results. An example with the good old Diablo II?The secret cow level? It was translated "Livello della mucca segreta" which is a facepalm worthy error.See, in the sentence "secret cow level" what is secret, the cow or the level? English put all adjective before the noun, and when translating in italian you must keep in mind of this. But obviously common sense and contest of the sentence are optnional here. Correct translation would be "Livello segreto della mucca"Walking stick? "Bastone che cammina"Which in english sounds "Stick that walks" Here anoter fail translation, "Bastone da passeggio" would be the correct traduction.Northrend is translated "Nordania" which is... I don't know exactly, but the more I read it the more it get weird. We don't hate our language, quite the opposite, we are always moaning and whining when a game is not localized in italian. English is teached in all schools, since primary classes, but it's regarded by many as "boring school stuff" and so it's not taken very serious by younger ones.I personally like english, although I perceive it slightly cold and formal, and I've no problems at all reading and understanding it.I've also read that trolls, that in the english version have a jamaican accent (love it so much), will speak in... neapolitan dialect! Ok, you've sold me, I subscribe back and install the italian language just to laugh out loud for a bit!
