Could they have possibly picked a smaller store than AMPM GEESSZZZZ
yeah i have never even heard of am/pm lol guess if i want these it will ebay for me
Yeah, I would love to get some of those cups, but I have never even heard of that store...
No ampm in Canada, so no cups for me.
In regards to the intellect plate situation:It is a sort of troublesome fact that out of the current 30 specs in the game only one utilizes this gear, and it can be fairly annoying in a heroic to not have a paladin healer and get two drops for a holy pally; the opposite where a holy pally is in the group running a dungeon repeatedly because only this boss drops intellect plate shoulders is also silly. Having played a holy paladin in wrath as my main, I can vouch for this and have a few ideas that may help solve this pain.1) Retune paladins in general so that they all can benefit from intellect (a far stretch, but plausible). This way, paladins in general can simply focus on gear made for their class. Since holy paladins have their own gear at the moment, retuning it for them is likely in the works anyway, so why not change a few ret and prot mechanics to suit having a few pieces of intellect. Feral druid tanks have the same gear as rogues excluding weapons, they don't need special "tank" gear to function, so why not paladins as well?2) As mentioned, give them mail gear, since all things considered their gear is almost the same as shamans right now. The shamans will be miffed for sure if they actually have to share their gear, and the idea of having a paladin that looks exactly the same as the shaman next to them is a bit of a stretch, especially with how many paladins love to transmog to popular tier sets (particularly 2,6,and 10) that would now have to look into mail gear to change into. This is an unlikely choice for those aesthetic reasons, but a simple solution to keep gameplay smooth.3) Just leave it alone. Yes, gearing a holy pally is rough, but so is gearing an enhancement shaman (which Blizzard has pretty much given up on, imo) or respeccing any class if you don't have the gear for it on hand when you do. Hybrid classes will always have to realize that to fulfill their multiple roles they need to up their game and grab the gear they need. But then, the problem isn't going to get better, is it?4) Completely revamp holy paladins to accept strength gear to heal, thus making them a true hybrid, capable of dps and healing with a simple change in rotation. This choice is by far the most ludicrous and least likely to happen, since something that can fully handle two roles in combat is highly frowned upon (and why feral druids are being separated into two distinct specs in Pandaria) especially in a PvP scenario. If the talent trees weren't being squished into their simpler forms, it may have been possible to make the holy tree half dps, half healer like a feral is half dps half tank. That being said, if a holy paladin can be refurbished to accept strength, then int. plate gear can be banished away forever. Of course, then you'll have 5 other plate speccs that now have to compete with their healer in raid loot. Not a pretty picture. Ultimately this puzzle is one that either can't be fixed because of what needs to be done, or will break the game a bit and change alot about it if it is. My best advice to Blizzard? Don't fix what ain't broke. It may be a pain in the arse, but it ain't really broke either.
AM/PM is the convenience store that goes with most BP gas stations in the United States.
For those of us who live in europe, anyone reckon there'll be a chance to either order these cups online or if they'll be sold in europe as well?, i'd love to have a few of them but well..i aint going to the US just for cups if you catch my drift...Thoughts?~ Kazom.
I'm completely indifferent to esports and Starcraft and mostly indifferent to the cups. If they made a "Mists of Pandaria: The Fountain of Raider Tears" playset. I'd buy that in a heartbeat tho.Th Holy Paly gear issue will never be fixed, and I call "shenanigans" on the "no filler" bit.I also call "shenanigans" on the "concentrated coolness" line. Where was this design philosophy when they were making Cataclysm? Must have been in all of the "challenging" stuff that no one really saw.And yes, you should be seeing all of that as "air quotes" and hearing it in the voice of the guy from those Tequila commercials.
Downside to the AMPM cups: You'll only be able to pay cash and there'll be a 50 cent surcharge if you look at an ATM on your way to the store.I dunno about anyone else, but I'll drive past four or five Arco/AMPMs to get to ANY OTHER gas station on the planet. *Especially* when traveling on business.
QQ no BlizzconCheers,Hat

Arco = >_<
I am so getting myself some of those cups.
AM/PM = Stop'N'Rob in most places in the USA. Run in grab your cup and throw the money at the cashier and GTHO quickly!
Those cups. Must.....have.Anyways, thats a bummer about Blizzcon. This was probably the one year I could probably make it. Oh well. I'm not excited about MoP, so they can release it 3 years from now for all I care.
Really bummed about the cups being from AMPM :( Not only have I never heard of them, but I used their online store locator and found none anywhere near my state (Oklahoma). Would love to see these being sold online, officially, not just from resellers on eBay.
so why not change a few ret and prot mechanics to suit having a few pieces of intellect. Feral druid tanks have the same gear as rogues excluding weapons, they don't need special "tank" gear to function, so why not paladins as well?No, just no. I have got to assume you never played prior to Wrath or something with this suggestion! This would be a step backwards and would actually restrict gear choices for non holy paladins, I'm quite happy being able to use gear that until Wrath would have been Warrior only.2) ....&4) ....You talked these down yourself so I won't bother. 3) Just leave it alone. But then, the problem isn't going to get better, is it?This is the one I like. Well, sort of. For years the "problem" of gear not dropping has been a tough one but keeping stats the way they are is the way to go. What I would prefer to see happening if there has to be a change is a change in the way loot is dropped, although it would mean a major change as currently mobs' loot is set when they spawn. So rather than that, and only in dungeons, set it so loot is created at the time a kill is made and then only drop gear that a class who is eligible for loot could roll on and use (and by use I simply mean that they're able to equip it, not that it only drops things you still need). You could also then make the loot pool common for all bosses - with perhaps a few exceptions. This would also address the more common issue of sharding where no one can use though obviously not solve it if something that someone has got. The only significant issue I can see in this is creating scarcity for rarer drops, which in a larger loot pool might have some unfortunate side effects.

About the talent trees: I still think this is a RPG and each player should be given the opportunity to play it the way he wants. And talents are just the way to customize the gameplay. So in this case, the more, the better because it allows players to have a spec of their own, their own play style. I would say ( despite the probelms it will cause for you ) to add more talents , and to balance each spec ( and i mean DPS spec )so that the output is the same, but different play style.Hope you'll give it a thought
It seems to be just me, but I feel like that fact that Blizzard keeps having to justify the new talent system is exactly the reason they should not go through with it. The reason they keep explaining it is because they hope that if they say it correctly then suddenly the talent system as it was before Cata will seem like the total piece of crap they try to make it out to be. What this tells me is that they are moving forward with a design change that (to me) seems like the community at large is against, while claiming that since they are the designers they know what is best for us. This is the same thing they did for the talent changes for Cata, and while I think some good things came out of it (like specs getting core abilities at lvl 10), that too was a forced change that nobody wanted. IMHO they should listen to the community, swallow their pride about their "ingenuity" and actually listen to what the players are wanting. *DISCLAIMER* I am not suggesting that some of the ideas within the changed system are bad, but I am suggesting that the new system not only ignores the popularity of previous versions of the game by trying to emulate their spirit (TBC anyone?), but that they are so focused on moving the game away from the mechanics and systems of the past that they are bulldozing the community feedback in the hopes that we will give in and see it their way eventually.Blizzard, I challenge you that if you read this, respond to it and convince me that your claim of "diversifying" the class system is justified by the recent changes to the class specs (i.e. vengeance in pvp) that pigeon hole certain specs into only being viable for certain environments- i.e Ret in arenas, or the fact that most tanking specs are no longer viable in pvp. Or better yet, how do you justify "diversification" INTRA-spec when the only difference between frost mage A and frost mage B is up to 3 choices that are at best superfluous
stuffWell for one, those at Blizz will most likely not read this as it is a fan site and not the official forums. On that note what you say is quite wrong. They hope to keep saying it so people will better understand it. A lot of players say they are taking everything away but they don't realize that they are actually giving us more choices. Instead of having to waste talents as a tank so you will be uncrittable, it will just be a passive ability you get from choosing the tank role. For the hybrid healer/caster classes they won't have to spend talents to make their spirit act like hit, it will just become a passive ability they get when they choose their caster spec.With that, they are giving us abilities that can be used how ever we want. They won't help or hinder us depending which one we pick, they each will offer something. As you point out, the only difference now between frost mage A and B are how they pick their talents. Do they choose an impact! spec or an Imp Blink spec. Well come MoP they will get more choices, without hindering how they play. Now some classes seem to get screwed on this, one I think are druids, but MoP isn't even in the alpha phase yet so there is plenty of time for them to change those talents around.Also for you to say that 'the community at large is against this" it can't be true. Out of all those that play it I doubt you know that 75% or more of the player base dislikes the changes.
