Thats one holiday with potential for more but it ends up overshdowed by hallow.
Someone more learned than I could probably go into the psychosocioanthropological underpinnings of the holiday, but for me: I wouldn't want to shlep around a tiny skeletal reminder of my father all year 'round! And were it made permanent, no one would force you to.Fair enough. Every other player in the game agrees not to summon him at inappropriate times of the year, right? How is it different than every X-mas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, Easter, etc. pet that we can summon the rest of the year. Every one of those holidays has religious significance, too.Plus, if it's someone elses pet it's technically a tiny skeletal reminder of THEIR father that you're seeing.Because most of those holidays are actually pagan, and who cares about them?
ok, who cares, this holiday is dead
No idea why this "holiday" even needs a guide. Just go what the ingame thing says. Go to a GY... The end. thats all
Two reasons:1. Every holiday gets a guide and Wowhead didn't want this one to feel left out;2. It's an opportunity to whine about the pet not being permanent.I still feel that the pet needs to be permanent and needs to break out into the Mexican hat dance when clicked upon.
So crap that I cant do the quest as I'm a low level Pandaren...
