Mid Summer festival on a PVP realm. So much world PVP going on around the fires... its awesome.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?I think my favorite holiday is Hallow's End. It is the first one that I remember really participating in. Even though it took me 5 years to get the Squashling I still love fighting the Horseman and disrupting the Wickerman fire. It reminds me of my childhood and all the fun we had dressing up and going out and having fun. Thats what this holiday is like in WoW.
Midsummer Fire Festival.I love visiting all the distant locations, all the gold, and the scorchlings. But really most of the holidays are pretty awesome. :)
Winter Veils has always been a favorite. First holiday event that I ever played when playing the game.
Well i like Halloween most. Its @#$% plain fun, and there a ton of funny things to cast on people and masks to make it all a bit different. Its just nice to have those crazy thing to play with, and the horsemans mount is just awesome. Theres a lot of things to chase, and annoy people with.So Halloween is my favorit...
My favorite holiday is Pilgrim's Bounty because it encourages city raiding (some of my favorite times with my guild have been in city raids) and it also gives us all a chance to pay back all those pesky rogues that stab us in the back! Also, Plump Turkey + Cooking Fire = WIN.
My favorite holiday event on WoW (considering I have done all of my holiday events) would have to be... Noblegarden. Most definitely. I have done these both on Horde and Alliance and have to say that I enjoy finding those colorful eggs! My favorite animal is a rabbit, so I'm always excited when I turn into a rabbit by using that off-hand basket! It's super fun and quite relaxing.Although, I got to admit... Winter Veil has to be my second favorite holiday! HUUUUGE Snowballs, ftw! :D
Probably it's Hallow's End - I love trick or treating.
Hallows end, only time of year where i can acctualy rage on a game for doing "pve".. never getting that Headless horseman mount..
My favorite would have to be Hallows End because of the headless horseman mount...when i got it i was like a kid in a candy store...:)
Brewfast(Oktoberfest)as I'm half german,I really like the event in game, the chains / quests / followups its just purely awesome, and of course the beer!
I like Brewfest the most. Getting drunk and partying it up in game is pretty fun. The quests with the Pink Elekk's and the Wolpertingers are also quite funny. Blizz's sense of humor really shines in that holiday.
Hallow's End, probably. I think the trick or treating is cute, and it's nice to be able to do something fun on your alts that gives decent XP. And I love the Headless Horesman; even if he still hasn't give me his reins. I also like some of the associated vanity stuff; the mount is awesome (one of my top 5 favorites), and the Sinister Squashling and new Feline Familiar are two of my all time favorite pets - and as a pet/mount collector, that is saying something!
I just love Midsummer! because i love summer and my birthday is in summer :)
Winter Veil is my favorite, but Hallow's End is right behind. Christmas is my favorite holiday by far =)For the Alliance!
Hallow's End, no doubt about it. Halloween and everything Halloweenish has always been my favorite. I played Undead in WC3 and my first WoW character was an Undead. I even married my wife on Halloween (and had Mexican food at the reception, heh)! I've been farming the Horseman's Reins for the past two years on every single one of my characters to no avail. When the stupid epic sword appears in the loot-filled pumpkin, my heart always skips a beat at the sight of purple. I run around with my various character masks taking up valuable space in my bags year-round, and Blizzard willing I will be mogging my Hallowed Helm on all my clothies.Still working on "The Hallowed" for my new main, but it doesn't even feel like a job to do it; it's just plain fun! Happy Hallow's End!
BREWFEST!I just love it because of "Binary Brew"!
My favorite Holiday is also Hallow's End. I love the creepy atmosphere they've created. Pumpkins, hanging ghosts, bats, it's just wonderful to look at. I still have, in my bank, the level 70 versions of the horseman's helm and sword (as well as several of the rings).
winter veil - free presents oh yes thats the way to do it!
The best for me is Hallows End. Being Wiccan, I love all the festivities with the Wicca man and trick or treating. Even bombing the capitals with stink bombs is fun. And I have toons on both factions so it is double the fun. Halloween (Samhain) is my favorite time of year and I am so glad my favorite game of all time has holidays just like real life. You guys are awesome!
