That sucks. I wonder how many "top world" guilds will move to those servers to get the world first race boosts
Awesome, i hope for this to come to NA servers if only for classic raids. Sulfuras here i come :D
this is only for 4.0 and 4.2 raids it has no effect on the new Dragon Soul raid which would be current progression when this is most likely released worldwide
As long as it's only on outdated content I don't care.
Taiwan and Korea are just the Guinea pigs atm but it would be cool if old tier content used the 2 resets a week system because who cares about outdated content.
If they decide to do this world-wide, they should include all past raids as well, for farming purposes (both mount and 'mogging gear excursions).
I actually LOVE this idea. Being able to do stuff more often is ALWAYS good.
Just more pandering to the Asian market.
I cannot tell you how excited I am for this change to come to NA servers. Ever since Blizzard changed 10/25 to the same lockout I haven't felt like I have been able to raid, in current content, enough on my warrior per week. You clear everything in a night and then thats it... really? Yes I have alts but I really like to complete as much as I can on one character. I enjoy the 10 and 25 man raids for different reasons. If this change comes to NA then I think I will be able to experience both raid types again. Also, since Blizzard has felt like more people need to experience the content, this faster gearing may get people through the content a bit faster. The early nerf to FL could have possibly been avoided if gearing was faster via this 2xweek raid reset.
I am not keen on the talent point changes it looks like many classes are losing abilities or having to choose between between abilities which are not much use to their roles plus abilities some classes had at low level are now only available at level 90. It just seems reduce how much you can personalise the talents to your style of play and does not offer the same flexibility as the current system. I notice in the rogue talent choices no mutilate does that mean that all rogues can now have it at a certain level or will it vanish completely from the game? The current talent system seems to work why fix what is not broken especially considering how much time and effort has been made to try and balance each tree out.
There is just one talent tree as far as I can see for each class with a choice of 3 things every 15 levels there does not appear to be specific specs anymore it just seems as if it is being over simplified and taking away what choices people have now with personalising their abilities so if someone wants to do say dps as a class then they ll end up having to take the same as all the other players of that class who decide to dps will end up doing so instead of being able to adjust it to their style of play. It will force players who have played wow for 7 years to completely change how they play their class again. I can just see a lot of players leaving to play similar games that use talent systems similar to the current ones used in wow.
