So i am just gonna make half a hundred points, first of all to everyone complaining about pet battles no one is gonna make you do them, though I think they're a great idea. Next the complaint about how Wow is turning into Kung Fu panda well guess what.... if Kung Fu never existed you would have thought it was an original idea, which it is because the Pandarins have been part of lore since WC3 BEFORE Kung Fu panda. It also makes perfect sense, the world just got torn apart destroying the portals in Dalaran and other magic (connection). Quit WoW if you want because of new idea or old ones, just because you don't like them is no reason to quit, just ignore them and do what you like and sit in TBC or whatever you want forever. I am sorry for being so blunt but the amount of complaining is amazing, none of the things they put in a game are mandatory, sit at level one forever if it floats your boat but don't complain about new things.Irongolk Warrior Blackwinglair Us
Joke right?I am so tired of this comment
Seems like they are driving away the solo quester. I won't do PvP or raids, so I guess I'll have to find another place to spend my money. It was fun for a while.

It was fun for a while.PVE scenarios; more or less group quests to do with a bunch of friends for rewards. The Pet Battles. The Challenge Mode dungeons. Lots of solo/friend content still going to be in the game.

Ok i like the new setup of the talent system but in all honesty i do not really see it achieving Blizzard's goal of making people less " cookie-cutter ". i do, however believe the priest talent tree is about the closest setup that they have done so far. i still see some levels that are obviously not going to be used by shadow priests. but i also see it all through the multiple utility classes. i do not really think this is the solution to blizzards goals. i believe if you take talents similar to how they began ( with many many talent ) but make those talents less have-to-have in order to be considered a decently spec'd anything then that would make people customize more and not number crunch and find out which provide the best net output of damage/healing.
I know exactly how I feel about this. It looks terrible. It's a corny way to appeal to the mass and has no place in the game. The next expansion should have been Azshara and the Nagas. That fits in way better :( It gives Blizzard the appearance of being desperate after the subscription rate went down after Cataclysm.
Seems like they are driving away the solo quester. I won't do PvP or raids, so I guess I'll have to find another place to spend my money. It was fun for a while. The only thing that could potentially be driving away the solo quester is their encouragement of more world PvP, somewhere in the avalanche of everything that came out is a comment stating they wanted to do something about the high level guards preventing attacks on towns. While I endorse this for PvP servers, I think they should stay for PvE servers, since, despite learing several lessons this coming xpac (despite everyone who says otherwise, they have. Take a step back and think on it) they are still equating "wanting to encourage world PvP" with "allowing some jerk to camp a town for hours on end so nobody can quest there on a PvE server and just shrugging it off as 'meh, screw off guys it happens' " Yes, I'm referencing an example. Not the language, but the scenario. People don't roll on a PvE server to experience the joys of not being able to, essentially, quest in an entire zone because the primary hub is effectively useless. Not to seem like I'm crying about this, since if this were a PvP server I would do the 'shrug it off' move, but on a PvE server... come on. You made different servers for exactly this reason. I guess my biggest problem is that in MoP the primary faction hubs on Pandaria will be seperate so they don't need to be sancuaries to encourage the other faction to raid them. I'm sorry, but when I'm on my PvE characters I am doing so because sometimes I just want to play and quest and work on profs and whatever without dealing with ganking and the constant hassle and having my towns being unuseable. Stop encouraging this. I wouldn't care, except for that they stated they wanted this on all realms. When I want to PvP, I have chars on a PvP realm. When I'm not, I've got my PvEers. Stop telling people to raid my PvE town so I can't quest in peace when that's what I want on the realms you created for that purpose.tl;dr - I've been drinking and just got home, so this is a rant. I still feel it's a valid point. Also, bathroom.

How did you reserve a name?
personally im excited about this expansion. in my opinion pandarans are a cooler concept than some of the other races. cataclysm was bad but there were some good things too, i just focused on them. just like the things you like and don't like the things you don't like, no one is forcing you like everything and anyone who says they like every aspect of an expansion is fooling themselves.
How did you reserve a name?Have an empty character slot and put the name there, then delete it when the new race comes out.
I wonder if they're hinting at anything in the teaser when they Say "Azeroth's limits have yet to be revealed".
I wonder if they're hinting at anything in the teaser when they Say "Azeroth's limits have yet to be revealed".That there is still more out there to explore?
How did you reserve a name?Have an empty character slot and put the name there, then delete it when the new race comes out.of course make sure that the name you are reserving has no special characters such as ´ ^ ¨ and ` because its useless to reserve those names.why? because in order to use that name on your brand new toon, you'd have to delete the toon with the reserved name and then create one with the reserved name, and after 4.3 no special characters can be on any letter of any new name.

when i saw the pic on pet battle i got the feeling it looked like a pokemon battle :PReminds me more of Monster Rancher still.WTB Pre-TBC Server =\\ Yeah.....since that's what Private Servers do, don't think you'll ever see that; of course, maybe Blizzard should do that so that the nostalgia factor of Vanilla will finally be put to death.
