Warriors take ANOTHER effing dmg nerf WTF Blizzard?
I really don't see either of those Hunter buffs breaking the bank in terms of balance.Marksman will continue to be the top dps spec, solely due to the fact that almost all of its shots scale with weapon damage. This cannot be said for BM or SV.For those of you who remember the SV nerf which reduced Explosive shot damage, there's a simple reason behind this. Survival was entirely too awesome for the first few weeks of Cata, the balance wasn't even close to what it should have been and they nerfed both signature shots to compensate. I'm guessing that if you just plain reverted those nerfs now, Survival would be competitive with all other top dps specs and classes. This is due to the lack of scaling that Survival has. Granted, it scales nicely with agility, but weapon damage doesn't do much to improve its output. As far as BM goes, there's going to need to be alot more thought put into the spec other than a flat 5% AP buff to give it an edge. Any fight where the target moves often or suddenly goes out of range, or simply changes from one mob to another, absolutely destroys BM's dps. Maybe they could look at some of the reasons that BM is lacking rather than simply buff their primary scaling stat.
you guys are completely missing the point of my comment...
Nice, it looks like Blizzard is taking another solid step toward merging game mechanics with game lore.Paladin: anti-demon, anti-undead.Azeroth: overrun by demons and undead.Azerothian Paladins: fail.
I'm happy they're fixing the Atonement issue, but I really wish they could make Shadow less RNG dependent with Shadow Orbs. That, and make some of our environmental spells useful (I'm looking at you, Mind Soothe).
I LOVE the fire mage buff (play fire myself)Allows us to finally do similar dmg in similar gear as those boring arcane mages. Its not really weird fire and destro get buffs, its obvious the cataclysm was caused by a group of destro locks and fire mages >:)
