2-piece Warlock is to even things out I guess?4-piece Warlock is a buff to some degree. At the very least, Warlocks probably won't run out of Soul Shards.I hope the 2-piece is stated backwards. It doesn't make sense to me. They're trivializing Demonology's which doesn't seem fair to me. Unless this is a step towards making longer-lasting Doomguard/Infernals with a shorter cooldown a more permanent thing... in which case i'm all for it. (Of course, I hadn't considered Mastery: Master Demonologist. That certainly gives Demo Locks more bang for their buck, so the wording could be correct, I guess... :s )As for the 4-piece, yeah that's pretty much it. Most PvE Warlocks use Soulburn almost exclusively for Soul Fire anyway (the only other occasion I can see is Afflicion Warlocks with Soulburn: Seed of Corruption, or for a quick resummon mid-fight), so it's not really an added bonus, so much as a safeguard to prevent the loss of our set bonus during a prolonged fight.Personally I prefer set bonuses which have fun and interesting procs, like our current tier's, but this isn't too bad.
making arcane mages use another spell that is crappy and not part of their rotation is not an acceptable fix to the boring op class blizzard!edit: READ BARRAGE NOT BLASTlol @ Arcane mages having a rotation.
How can the mage 2p ever be anything that's not a nerf. We nearly need no haste anymore. And our Arcane power will have a 20 sec cd with the 4p bonus... how can that be bad? Beside OP
Mage 2P -- Your Arcane Blast has a 100% chance, and your Fireball and Frostbolt spells have a 50% chance to grant Stolen Time, increasing your haste rating by 50 for 30 sec and stacking up to 10 times. When Arcane Power, Combustion, or Icy Veins expires, all stacks of Stolen Time are lost. 4P -- Each stack of Stolen Time also reduces the cooldown of Arcane Power by 7 sec, Combustion by 4 sec, and Icy Veins by 6 sec.So Blizz ignored a huge amount of cooments about how this would hurt Arcane mages, making AB cast faster burns mana faster, therefore making our conservation phase longer and lowering our DPS, lowering the cooldown on arcane power is pointless, even more so with a faster AB sapping away our mana. Could mean going back to fire if this remains as arcane will be ruined with the 2/4 setI can understand your concern there, but look on the bright side: we could eventually reach a point where it could benefit us because we generate more mana than we consume (without the Stolen Time haste).Eh....then again.Uuh... There's no way haste hurts Arcane Mage's in any way shape or form. It's just less beneficial then it is to Fire or Frost. The length of either phase does not make a difference, only the amount of damage you're able to put into each one, and while this will shorten the length of your burn phase, it will also allow you to get more Arcane Blasts into the duration of Arcane Power, Trinkets, and Mana-Gem, (OH LOOK, AND THEN IT WILL EXPIRE!), and then will allow you to do slightly more DPS in your mana conservation rotation because of Arcane Missles shooting faster. On top of all this, faster cast times make you less likely drop stacks of Arcane Blast after having to move.
Thanks Blizzard for hearing us and changing the "non-disc" set bonus!
Holy paladin 2p is similar to a druid, which I seem to like because I try and use Divine Favor off the CD. Now the 4p, did not attract to me until I saw what they are doing with Holy Raidiance. *Sniffs around*, I smell paladins becoming acceptable raid healers.
