Correct me if i'm wrong but, they just nerf stuff right?
Been waiting for Divine Aegis to have a new effect.
I think they are going to rethink the NA character letter thing after all the complaining they are going to hear
As always, the UI notes are always the one that interest me most. These are my favorite:
I don't believe this... So Wind Shear, being 1 of the best interrupts, is getting buffed? What is this, I don't even... And really? People look at this, and all they can complain about is accents and special characters being disallowed? I'm not too sure what the real issue is. I have made plenty of names that aren't excessively long or nonsensical, without the use of special characters. And to be honest, I'd prefer not seeing people with similar names, but with a small accent instead. I'm a "part-time" RP'er, so that could be the reason, but I really feel it detracts from the player interaction. My guild currently have 3 players with almost the same name, but with accents over different letters. Not going to name them here, but needless to say, it really get annoying when attempting to tell them apart. As for tanking, this change just further trivializes threat. Better ramp up time for vengeance (Especially in 5-mans) and more attack power base thanks to the increase in AP buffs will make gearing or speccing for threat absolutely meaningless. For DPS - maybe. But not for threat.
Thank you Blizzard for FINALLY buffing Divine Hymn! \\\\^O^// I love you so much right now. <3 <3 <3
New Ancestral Healing mechanic looks pretty awesome and will make crit a lot more valuable for resto shaman. The Wind Shear nerf kinda sucks though just because I usually end up interrupting when other people aren't paying attention because if stuff isn't interrupted, my job is harder.
When you talent 2/2 on reverberation (in the elemental talent tree) the cooldown is now reduced reduced by 20 sec. Though now enhancment and restoration shammys have to dig deep in the elemental talent tree to get back the old wind shear... I play as a enhancment shaman, and i think this sux big time =( Now i cant buff my self healing in the restoration talent tree because i have to use all my left over talent points on elemental!
OK, let's see...you have twenty-six letters in the English alphabet with which to make a name up to twelve letters long. So, let me do a little math here...the number of possible combinations is approximately...a pretty big honkin' number.I know. It'll just cause your poor little heart to break if you are unable to name your belf hunter Legolas, or your belf DK Edcullen, or your Tauren Pally Holycow. Tough titty. Grow some originality, and find something a little more worth QQing about.I love this change. ASCII characters annoy the crap out of me, and now I won't have to look up a bunch of stupid alt codes to armory someone.Bearing in mind, though, this is only the initial PTR release. I predict that the #$%@storm of moans and groans from the preteen RPers will cause them to rethink.
I'm all for the no-accents change, posted on us forums about it many times. They seriously screw up trying to look up people on armory, whispers etc (mind you, alt codes don't work in wow if your computer is not set to ansi-western locale). One thing surprises me though - that people will get to keep their old names. If that stays as it is, that's probably going to be the biggest grandfathering case in wow.
