All this drama over an item that's going to be outpowered by a green 3 months after most of you actually get this item. If you even get it at all.
Awesome, rogues get to fly now, that's totally logical. Ofc it is. Why wouldn't it be. Cencure my ass, go %^&*, rogues. :/calm down, at this point we dont know if those actually allow you to fly.Warlock tier 6 had wings too as an idle animation and they do not fly. Their Metamorphosis gives them 2 very large very cool wings, and still they don't fly. Also, bear in mind that in the case that these wings DO allow you to fly, they will work like Running Wild does for the worgens, meaning all the rules regarding mounts all aplly to this too (Including the 1.5 casting time, being unusable in combat, not usable in places where flight is not allowed, ect)
and C: The previous legendary allowed the owner to transform him/herself into a mount, so I can tottaly see this being the case for the daggers. Those wings would indeed allow you to fly, they'd have a casting time of 1.5 secs, they would not be usable in combat, or in places where flight mounts without a ground animation can't be used (Such as the molten front, or BG's/arenas)But that Rogue is falling Rank, not flying; if you could fly with those wings, it would just be hovering in the air.o_O really? (my bad :P haven't used an alliance race in a while xD mostly a human pally and night elf druid, but since those can turn into birds, I've never seen mine on free fall)Still though, those wings look like black dragon wings, so they are definitly NOT from the tier set, they are from the daggers (Which are obtained from a quest were we work for the Purified Black Dragon that hatched from that egg)Wether or not those wings will allow you to fly, (in a similar vein of how running wild is the mount of the worgens) remains to be seen and will only be answered when they release the info. That being said, the last legendary allowed its wielders to fly bro, so at this point, it wound't surprise me if these allowed the same too. That's why I linked the image of Batman lol =P; and it is possible they could still come the tier as we haven't seen it idle yet heh. But yeah, more then likely the wing effect is from the daggers, but I don't see them allowing flight either, just because of the pure amount of pain it would take to model it for all 10 races that can be rogues; the Warlock helm wings changed size depending on the race after all.
Well these wings look awesome...I can't understand how nobody seems to give the most obvious answer for the effect... Let's sum the facts. - They are probably a use effect of the legendary daggers. - Both the wings and the set, look Batman-ish, and even more the picture. - The picture strongly resembles those of Batman falling from a high place with his cloak. - Batman can't fly with the cloak, just slow the fall and maybe glide a little. - The animation of the picture, is a rogue falling*.So, I think the most obvious answer is that these daggers give you som kinde of slow fall/glide effect (probably with a cooldown) that also activates the wings. Of course, they will have another buff to damage or rogue abilities.I really don't see a mount. They just did that... * This is what I see, however, it also resembles the diving animation, which is used when you fly without mount (lag)
HRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHThat was the sound of my brain exploding from sheer awesome.
oh my god! ok this awesome!but for one more time you are doing something for rogues? :(at burning crusade rogues could have the legendary things from illidan too :(make something for warriors! or fo paladins!Warriors and Paladins had Shadowmourne a hell of a lot more recently than Rogues had the Warglaives.
All this drama over an item that's going to be outpowered by a green 3 months after most of you actually get this item. If you even get it at all.Not necessarily true. I used the warglaives on my rogue until level 80. There were a few items that came close but none truly replaced until 80 dungeons. I also used all my Tier 6 armor until 80 heroics. Again, nothing had better stats to replace it until then.
Oh, just realized:Rogues will be going around as Batman, Death Knights will be running around in the Magma Plated set being joker. It all makes sense.
I am the Batman!
Uhm...Oh my O_O' that is bad-ass.Rogues wont be to only one with wings in 4.3 though /WarlockT6
I... I LOVE IT!

They have that exact same animation while levitating. Maybe thats what it is, the rogue isn't flying, he's just using a free levitate from the daggers. The bonus was supposed to be rogue centric as opposed to just a damage boost, and we already get a falling damage reduction, maybe these just give you the option of getting rid of falling damage entirely?
Awesome...so is that part of the new Rogue armour set or do the wings from the Daggers? My guess is from the degger, because look: http://www.wowheadnews.com/blog=195176/4-3-preview-rogue-tier-13-blackfang-battleweave no wingsWarlock Tier 6 had wings that flapped out from the Helm; entirely possible the new Batman armour has an idle as well.true, so very trueEDIT: might not be idle, could be like Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's RestIt wouldnt be idle mainly because he is either flying or falling. thats just my perspective on this screenshot, if it is like Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest then that is a sweet friggin mount haha.
so its settled, its either a proc that lets you fly (similar to how running wild works) or a proc that works like a parachute, to slow your falls but with a CD.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of restrictions are on the wings. I assume both daggers will need be equipped, with a cast time.

At this stage, there's no point in guessing - it might very well be a part of the quest chain.
Haha...this makes my day, 1st Batman themed T13 that looks badass, and now this... its a great day to be a rogue, and to the person i saw whining , and wanted a rogue nerf on our heal... really if u need to nerf a rogue anymore you are a pretty terrible player stay out of arenas:) Rogue Power!
