the goggles are a little silly but overall it looks pretty cool, and slightly different from other mage tiers while still retaining a mage feel. well done
Looks so cool, its a nice change from the whole magicky thing.
I actually like this set - it does feel like you're a "Time Lord." =P (Well modeled after the bronze dragonflight imo)
Kinda neat.I don't like it as much as T5/T11 though.
Hidden bonuses:Gives a second heart.Sonic ScrewdriverTARDIS (Time and Relative Dimensions in Space)The name "The Doctor"In honesty. I like it. Minus robe and such. Shoulders and helm are badass imo.
So far in Cataclysm - all the Mage tiers have looked incredible, but this is where that streak ends. This is laughable.
Timelord?Really?Ya!Rly!Each t13 set is supposed to be based off one of the new abilities each class got.http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3182449884?page=2#21
Why does this look so similar to something I can't quite remember from Magic: The Gathering...The fire planeswalker Chandra Nalaar.p.s. Can we get a wand that looks like a sonic screwdriver now? Please?
Because Horde mages look awesome wearing Gnomish cogs, yes.
Why the f is everyone whining about the new tier 13s? I think they all look awesome so far, but mage has to be my favourite by far, it makes me think of an alchemist from torchlight which is awesome and like someone said above, definitely liking the 'steam-punk' theme, friggin awesome
The coloring reminds me of one of the Wrath PvP tiers. The design is just... I laugh.I was actually jealous of Mages since T10. Before that their tier was really awkward with crazy lightning rod-ish headpieces, or had just really bland overall looks. Good to see Blizzard's going back to boring/weird looks for mages. ; )Just kidding. Blizzard's art team is really failing recently ; ; They swear they have the same dedicated personnel that helped work on Vanilla/TBC/Wrath, but you can definitely tell they've pulled a/some very influential person/people away from WoW to work on Titan.Oh, and they put the T12 belt on Heroic T11... wtg Bliz. (and while we're at it, both T12 belts shown are Priest... but at least it's the same tier, I guess)
I believe, Zarhym said it best. There is only one objective truth about every single armor set we've ever made -- some people love, and some people hate, each of 'em. The art is completely subjective and your tastes reflect your viewpoint. That said, our design philosophy for epic sets is not changing at all with the introduction of Transmogrification. We're still going to keep designing what we think is fitting and awesome for each class and tier. We want people to want to wear all of the major armor sets we release. In the future you'll just have the option of deciding what set fits you best aesthetically and adventuring to obtain it, without worrying about the stats. :)Pretty much this. Just go through the comments on the Wowhead blog posts for T13 and they're all over the place (except for maybe warrior T13). Hate/love/indifferent.
.....I like it.
The fire planeswalker Chandra Nalaar.Oh yes yes! The Jaya Ballard wannabe had goggles for headgear and fire all around herWhich is what they changed for this set, change fire to lights, change goggle to lights...
And this is suppose to be the most epic patch.......theres nothing epic about the gear. I think if u would have reused an older tier i would have been more excited...But this i could have made even if i was sloppy drunk
If there's an option to bring the goggle's down, this set is awesome. Otherwise it's just another uninspired set from the dull minds at Blizzard.
o dear, i am so nervous about the priest T13 and now after seeing what they have done to the mages.. *shudder*
Steam Punk - nice. Not a mage, but I dig the looks - if there was an option to switch the goggles to go over the eyes. Now that would be awesome.
I really like this set. I looks a bit funny, i admit, but still awesome.
Actually I like the belt most
