I am very surprised with these responses to the new tier; and not just that, the complaint about the last few tiers for druid too. I think Blizz really did a good job with our tiers in cataclysm so far(only talking about druid). tier 11 with its wings, the moment i saw i was like ;O i want this so bad, not only was it druid-like it was a fresh new look considering we always look like a tree. i mean it has wings that have sparks and feathers that fall off as we move, it´s very aesthetically nice to look at; and tier 12, how can u complain about it? it kept the feel of our previous tiers except we're burnt. not only does it fit the time in WoW it is ALSO a new look yet remains druid-like. Tier 13 is just plain awesome. have u actually looked at it? its leather, for one, tied by rope and branches, it covers the face in a away that looks stealthy, fluid, and acrobatic. and most importantly its very connected to azeroth representing the world tree and the earth itself. the blue rock makes it seem like it was forged by a special rock of some kind making it even more especal. it seems like a garment an army of druids would wear because of its connection to the class.this tier represents druids and u cant say it doesnt. for those complaining about it "not fitting the class, only the raid", where do u see deathwing on this? but it still represents cataclysm because the druids r protecting azeroth, "world tree army" haha xD
A little bland, but at least it isn't horrendously ugly like the warlock tier.
In my opinion T11 was much better than T12... T12 was just terrible, but so far i am liking T13 a lot so far.
Reminds me of outlands, mushroom guys.. dont know why
While it definitely looks druidy, and it's an interesting set of armor, I think most people's main problem is that this set just looks...underwhelming. I don't think the pads do it any favours (very rigid shapes never go well with a druid theme) and the triangular shape almost looks like french toast sitting on your shoulders. When you compare this to the warrior t13, you can tell which got more love and thought put into it, even the warlock t13 had an "old god" theme to it, what theme is there to this? Same old "natural" stitching seen on a fair few druid armors, just with some added glowing rocks..NB: It still looks better than the last druid tier set.
Its a set that actually looks like a Druid, people. Which makes it the 3rd time this expansion blizz has done a good job on. This goes to show how art is very subjective, I can show The Mona Lisa and probaly find someone who thinks its crap.
Tier 1 or Tier 2 HeadTier 5 ShoulderTransmogrificationDruids fixed
Well at least 2/3 of you guys won't see it most of the time.
Unlike other people (which seem to hate almost all Druid sets) I actually like most and like this one too.
Not impressed. T2 still remains my favorite one.Okay. T6 is fine as well, even though it's looking more like a shaman than a druid.
blizzard getting hard time on modelling shoulders i think... wtf look is that.. can someone explain the blue things on it ?
"so our main concern was avoiding making a helm that looked like a giant toadstool sombrero"So basically you are saying sombreros are not cool?*throws down staff*F* this lemonade stand.
My friend has been saying for years they need to hire a fashion designer to make the tier armor...I'm pretty sure there are plenty that play wow...
Blizz you wanted to have a fungi theme and yet you didn't want a mushroom sombrero? That would have been awesome! Well at least something different or less bland than this.
T11 > All. Been watching the AH for Hide of Chromaggus and been running BWD forever now, but still no shoulders. D:
You know, I don't really like any of the druid sets =/
Impressive design, only for a carpet tho.I don't really see people wearing this in the future. I'd transmog into wailing caverns greens in a heartbeat if i had chance to.
Looks like they are finally back to the foresty look of Vanilla and TBC, at least in the colour scheme, more damp moss covered cave in design. Still a step up from the last tier and still a candidate for T4-6 transmogrification, or feralheart.
