Its nice to see Ret Pallys get a small buff, they certainly needed it. :)
Yay! :) I always felt this didn't do enough damage.
Wow, blizzard never thinks about us PvPers do they? Censure already hits hard in arenas, now its just gonna be insane :(
Ok Pvpers, you're part of the problem here or should the raider community point out the amount of nerfs that have been done across the board for "homogenization and PvP balance", Blizzard came up with a PVE solution for a PVE problem and oh the QQ's start to get louder cause it makes PvP that much more challenging.Seriously tired of the PvP QQ's, Raiding end game content isn't about PvP and pally overall damage wasn't, especially in consideration of censure, hitting the mark for competent players and total newbs.
Sadly, PvP seems to be a very minor concern. Personally, I'm all about the "war" in Warcraft so PvP is my main thing, which is why I don't play WoW very often other than to jump in TB. There just isn't much to do if you're not into end-game exclusively, and have already done the holidays, achievements, other special fun stuff or lvled enough alts to drive yourself insane with the quest lines.
I'm very happy to hear about any attention the devs are paying to Ret. I've loved the spec through thick and thin, so I'll be glad when it's truly back up to par with other classes. It sounds like this is a good start.EDIT: Typo fix.
Why are you PvP-haters making us PvE people look like jerks? Stop it.Although a damage boost to Censure and smoothing it overall is nice, damage isn't the biggest concern when it comes to PvP. I mean, we're the only melee class without any good way to get to people. No slows or charges or anything. At least it's nice to see they're trying to fix things. I wish they focused a little on Shamans too though, they've been a bit in the dark lately as well.
This definitely needed to be fixed. Thank you Blizzard. As far as PvE and PvP go? Honestly, I think the problem lies in trying to balance the two against one another. Blizzard has been reluctant to treat the two separately, but they are two very different animals. I think Blizzard may eventually decide to make talents and abilities behave differently under PvE and PvP conditions. There are already several examples of this we could cite. I think that, once Blizzard stops trying to force the two into one bottle, like oil and water, balancing classes will become much easier for both PvE and PvP.And motion seconded, motion carried: stop the PvP QQing. I do both. I enjoy both. I don't find Ret Pallies any more or less OP than anyone else. (And I typically do my Arenas in Holy spec) Try going up against a Blood DK sometime... or a half-competent RLS (Rogue-Lock-Shaman) team. Ugh.
much needed i seriously don't feel like i don't do enough
Consequences will never be the same. Ever.
