new masks/sigh, I was so close, too. Damnable new races! =PKeep in mind that patch 4.3 is supposed to include a pile of new Darkmoon Faire stuff, which will hopefully reduce the expense associated with doing all the deck turn-ins currently required to get to exalted.I hope so. Tbh the DMF and 'Mogging make me more excited for 4.3 than Deathwing does. 3 "new" 5-mans come as a close 3rd though. Depends on how many of the 3 are revamped old instances... one is for sure CoT: War of the Ancients, right? That's pretty awesome, at least.
I'm sorry, but did this remind anyone else of Dave the Barbarian?Am I the only one?
You can only do a few of these turn-ins for rep — it stops giving rep once you hit 1625.See the quest and reputation details on Wowpedia’s Darkmoon Faire page for details.Meh, see - that's how little I've been to the Darkmoon Faire. Still, a few turn ins are a few turn-ins. Still, cheers for the heads up. :)Keep in mind that patch 4.3 is supposed to include a pile of new Darkmoon Faire stuff, which will hopefully reduce the expense associated with doing all the deck turn-ins currently required to get to exalted.Aye, that is true. I guess it'll make rep easier, but... yeah, who knows. I guess we'll see once Patch 4.3 hits the PTRs. Here's to hoping for the best!
This event could easily be updated. All they need is someone trying to prevent the Harvest to spread Famine and weaken the Horde/Alliance. You'd need to go to the farming areas for quests (Alliance-Elwynn/Westfall, Horde- Wherever) and at the end you fight some Hunger Elemental like we fight Ahune. Throw in a mount, a vanity pet and a vanity suit.. maybe a farmer or chef or something and you got at least a passable event. For some reason I'm thinking fighting a bunch of Harvest golems leading up to some scarecrow-like boss.. For MagicTG players I got Reaper King stuck in my head for this.
Did anyone else notice this was written as a haiku?
Did anyone else notice this was written as a haiku?wait, what, lol? I didn't quite catch where that was...
new masks/sigh, I was so close, too. Damnable new races! =PYou call that close? Look at mine, http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/terokkar/Thirsom/achievement#155:158:a284, only missing one gnome mask last year...On the other hand: Okay, mine is the result of just *two* years of intensive Halloween madness... :)
Brewfest is coming up soon and Pirate's Day.I love those cheap fireworks, but more should've been added, the food does count towards your food and drink consumed achievements if you don't already have them.
Gonna get the book, stock up on fireworks and forget about it. If it has no achievement, it doesn't exist.
Two years ago, I didn't get to turn Honoring a Hero in. Last year, I completely forgot about it. Last night, I finally handed it in. Thanks for the reminder, Ashelia.
The fireworks are good for lowbies (like myself) to turn into Rinling for the Green Fireworks quest. Anyone can do it and Engineers don't need to waste materials to make them :)
Yes. Every hour of every !@#$ing day for three !@#$ing years.I tried for 2 years in a row all the time. I finally got it like the very last try before it ended. It was a HUGE pain in the arse.
Here's a link for a quick video that shows everything you need to know for this festival. (Covers Horde and Alliance.)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kak5e9Rb2s8
