So...4.3 will introduce 1 hr wait times for randoms, and every guildmaster will now also have to be main tank. Tanking wasn't broke before they "fixed" the threat issue. Tanking was about deciding how much avoidance you could stack up and still out threat your DPS. It also required DPS to decide how much they could dish out without becoming the tank (for a VERY short time). Making the tanks "rotation" a little easy was fine, since most of the time we were positioning the boss, controlling adds, watching threat, choosing when to use cooldowns, (often) barking orders on vent, watching every timer DBM tossed out, and trying to manage rage, mana, or runes throughout the fight. So rather than tune the fights to make a tank have to decide between threat or mitigation, they just remove threat alltogether. Ummm....threat was WHAT WE DO. Why not take away all the boss' health and just put a timer on them all, so DPS don't have to worry about damage. Stay outa the fire for 6 minutes....boss just falls over and the loot spills out. Would that be "casual" enough for you Ghostcrawler? I know, make the minimum health a player can have be 1 instead of 0, that way healers don't have to worry about....healing.
OMG! As a blood DK, a death strike thats effect never misses is ABSOLUTELY GOD AWFUL! Where's the risk in playing a blood DK other than the timing? And I personally dont believe that the blood mastery is that great at all as it is. Paladin tanks get extra shield block with their mastery, a logical mastery for a blood DK would be something like, since DKs are a special type of self healing tanks, having mastery affect their self heals like death strike and rune tap or something to that effect. And bone shield being only used for spike damage? This will pretty much make DK tanks extremely OP in EVERY aspect. All a tank would have to do is keep it up the whole fight and the healers would have absolutely no problems healing them if its just trivial damage; hell, maybe even druid hots could keep a DK tank topped off with this system. In PvP: no spike damage from players? Combined with death strike, no class could ever even touch a blood DK without multiple players helping.Long story short: keep DKs the way they are. They are perfectly fine if the person can play them correctly.PS: A tank shouldnt worry about DPS, even though their DPS does matter. A tank's job is to SURVIVE!

Like i just don't understand every class has some point its better for certain situations than another class they need a bit more balancing but why like change the death knight tanking. I want to ask only 1 thing....can you please make the DK as it was on 80?If not i will just keep going on not playing wow as i did from the 1st month of raiding in Cataclysm and quitting cause i found no challenges and found the game TOTALLY easy compared to WoTLK for a 23-year old man like me....-Saw a kid 13 years old playing a hunter and simply running spamming his skills in bg and killing a mage that was trying to get near him without even having 1 interface changed...was playing like some1 plays when he freshly installs and logs into wow and without even having sweat for nothing.....-Saw a warrior with all appropriate addons with average lvl gear about 357 trying to dps in BWD and had the BEST lvl gear from any1 else without even losing 1 proc or doing something bad in his rotation...he had sweat and was anxious of not losing a single spell to make it through the boss...having EXCELLENT knowledge of warrior as he plays from pre-TBC wow....and still being 5k dps lower than a Mage with at least 5 lvls lower gear spamming only Arcane Blast - Arcane Blast - Arcane Blast ...-Saw my self --- a Blood DK on WoTLK ---tanking on Sindragosa HC...tanking the boss popping the one cooldown after the other (always with 1 cooldown left for case of emergency and not using them uselessly) and keeping the Diseases 100% uptime as i can't heal the 10% without any disease via Death Strike and on phase 3 when i got 6 stacks changing to Unholy Presence and runnning as fast as i can behind the frost tomb to lose the stacks and changing to Blood Presence to make as the most dmg i can to the tomb and then change again to Frost to run to the boss to continue the rotation....got a Heartache until we get her down after 49 wipes only that day....-And before 6 months watching myself tanking Magmaw doing DS - DS - HS - HS waiting for the runes,DS - DS - DS...with only 2 epic items from rep and full blue with 9% dodge and 7% parry and still the healers having only 30% of their heals on me cause i didnt need that much heal...tanking about 3 hours with my finger stuck on 1 key ( DEATH STRIKE )...and keep saying that DKs need more things...I love DK tank and he is the only char i got 80 lvl and now on 85...dont even want to start any other char...i knew him as good as my fists...6 months have passed since the day i quit wow and still remember the hotkeys and rotation of him like not leaving wow for 1 day...And i see now that you gonna make them even easier...Just keep up the work you do right now and soon you will lose MORE and MORE players...as you did with me...WoW was the one and only game i liked that much and you made me hate it to death...my friends are spamming me to keep playing because i was a 100% PERFECT TANK but i don't even disguss it cause i don't want to waste 24 € to just press 1 button throughout whole game...Just keep on...i like the way things went on and went more happy as you lost more and more subscribers...I just don't want to be passed unnoticed cause i am a simply representative of those who quit wow that last year...to mention it...i knew exactly 34 real life close friends playing wow...and now only 10 keep on playing...and the 3 of them are complaining for PVP because when they see a feral druid or a caster with Teracgosa staff they simply press /dance and wait the nightmare to come to an end as fast as it can...So please keep making it even more easier so lastly players will be beating every boss with 5-6 tries... and then when getting full gear and content after only 1 month after the patch to simply stop playing cause THE THINGS WHERE F*CKING EASY...Thanks for your time and i hope you continue like that!
One word....AWESOME! I take back my words from the "threat boost" post. GC indeed is going to fix things before adding more mess. On contrary to what I said earlier - adding some activity to the brainless classes might indeed be useful - at least I will start to respect them. But that might as well cause WoW to lose another 300k subscribing paladins, warriors and even druids, who feel like stacking one stat and standing there hitting 2 buttons is TEH play. Well, sarcasm, but true. The idea of holy-powered shield block seems fair, as well as certain buffs to warrior abilities. I already imagine a paladin who actually uses his GCD...a warrior that looks forward to proccing certain abilities to help his weakened block. Altho druids, who have worst mitigation, might need some boost to rage generation, if their rage is supposed to maintain Savage Defense( in some way, as I understood it). And again - give druids something more than Barkskin against spell damage. But that's not crucial.Although I am greatly relieved by the DS guaranteed change - the 100% heal and bubble( I hope that when it misses - runes will be used. Otherwise it will be a mad DS spam-heal. KaptinObiuus out), as well as not needing to always keep our blood runes out(which we as well time for aoe threat or rune tap) and permanent diseases(feels OP at this moment), I am worried about other changes: blood shield and bone shield. Yes, DKs "have" to take spikes of damage. This is the only way to fulfil reactive DS. But, if Blood Shield will be some maintainable resource(for example - instead of shield absorbing all damage - the shield would absorb half of it, stack, and affect every hit) and Bone Shield will affect only large hits - we wont take "spikes" anymore. What does that mean? Passive gameplay, and a straight tunnel to mastery stacking. Since end WotLK, and throughout all Cataclysm, I played a nearly total stamstacker style, which was appreciated in a number of raiding guilds. I know little of pwnwear, nor did I look much at EJ - I preferred to improve at my class myself. What I see now, is that stamina indeed reached it's diminishing return cap. For some classes, stamina might be mandatory or favouring, to have certain chances of survival - like the troll-example of Sejta as RaggyHC feral tank. But in general, druids now faceroll agility, and even tank with it. Warriors and paladins faceroll mastery, and of course also tank with it. What are DKs left with? In T11, stamina used to be some survivability tool, and as I wrote in my guide - it was more than mastery, because it actually improve our class abilities and selfhealing. But by the end of t11(hc), and in the beginning of t12, I start to doubt the potential of stamina. Although SSG(stoneskin gargoyle) runeforge was pointless before t11hc-t12 stamstacking level, using it now also becomes questionable, when stamina isnt that much needed. That means, if already now, mastery might be even better for DKs, then with the upcoming change to guaranteed Death Strike( as I said in my guide, HP pool was boosted by DKs to give them time to use Death Strike, to allow them to time and soak more damage), having high HP will be useless. And on contrary - stacking mastery to build higher blood shield, which you can get any time you want, while being protected from spikes by 20%. This will be tunneling, the end of stamina DKs. Although I try to mix and add slight mastery, I will remain a stamstacking DK until it will be clear to kid that stamina is pointless. Such break happened when ICC came out(stamina became "emperor", as pwnwear speak), such thing might happen in 4.3....
