If I called you Ashe, would it be a nickname or just referring to your icon?
Before pics: Meh. So what? After pics: I CAME FACE
Win... Just win...
Am I looking at this right...?Minigames?
>Long lost armor sets brought backSo in theory, this means that the following sets may be making a comeback:-D1/D2-T3-Scourge event armor-ZG set-S3 armorMy body is ready.
A lot of players don't approve of Blizzard "rehashing" old content, but for me, this will be a nostalgic return to what used to be a fairly significant event in vanilla.I have fond memories of grinding out bucketfuls of Glowing Scorpid Blood and Bat Eyeballs, and making armour kits, as I tried to obtain a necklace for my druid... sheesh, that must be six years ago now... o.OBut I admit that I've hardly been back to the Faire since the launch of the first expansion.Really looking forward to 4.3
yay, darkmoon fair is back ^_^I guess blizzard does listens to the players http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqqXkbSFXAE
I like this. A lot. That's really all there is to say.
as Yoda would say:Much win, this feature has.
I enjoy my unique items. You could say I strive for them, even. I spend a great deal of time (past and present) to acquire these items, when not many other people do. That being said, I really enjoy having my full Darkmantle set, with matching shirt, cloak, and even weapons, ready to xmog. I don't know of any other rogue on my faction on my server that has it.Now, this next part is my opinion. I really dislike that Blizzard brings back old items for any joe to get. I feel that if a player wanted them, he/she would have saved them, as I did. I understand the wants of casual and semi-casual players, but I feel that sometimes they're rewarded too much. I worked my behind off to get my original Darkmantle, to be unique, and now it seems like any rogue that wants it could get it. On a related topic, I feel the same way about Loremaster, I was one of the few that thought the title should have been removed in Cata or atleast a new title could have replaced it for the people who hadn't gotten the original.Oh well...
I absolutely LOVE everything they have shown in this preview... and sadly knew that a better way to get Darkmoon Faire reputation was coming, mostly because I recently and finally finished my "Insane" achievement. :/Also did Shen'dralar just before they took it out in Cataclysm, thanks for that slap in the face, Blizzard. At least with these carnival changes, I can still have fun, and those still going for "the Insane" can grind out at least one part of it in ways other than just farming herbs/building decks/buying decks.
Will comment as a loser. If reputation will same as old Faire, and will matter more than just minor welfare epics, then our Insanes will have a huge advantage...I dont think it will be possible to cap this stuff in couple of months, and over couple of months will mean it's not worth the time. And Deathmatch....no matter how bloody idiotic is the idea of remaking this stuff, if the prize is balanced(with farmable dungeons and BGs), at least we wont see PvP facerollers being pimped by their guilds every 3 hours.
