I've always thought that the ethereals are damn cool looking. It'd be nice to see them as a playable race - but I don't expect that in the slightest.
Gratz to Siiz, Tarcecoga looks AMAZING. Meanwhile, I only have 1 Eternal Ember from a pug and can't raid for 2 weeks just as my guild starts.Good to know how far I am behind./tear
Pandarem - AllianceEthereals - Horde
Ethereals! That's all I have to say really... except for congratulations to Premonition!
I really like this news round up. Congrats to the mage!I also think that 15 man raids would be perfect. It just seems like a good numbers. And, lastly, I'm hoping for all three. It would be neat for 4.3, redone Outlands is something I've been looking forward to for awhile, and increased customization would be amazing (Blizz should also fix dwarven chest beards, incidentally).
I disagree Steelhammer. Allys had their fun in the sun with Worgens, I say Pandarens go to THE HORDE! Allys can get the advanced arcane mummy race, otherwise known as Ethereals.
Well Blizzard has said they want to revamp both Outlands and Northrend eventually. As for the screenshot, the Ethereals are standing where the Enchanting trainers used to be so......
I knew ethereals are just too cool to be used only once!
The room that the Ethereals are in appears to be Human architecture, often seen in vendor buildings in Stormwind.
I'm gonna guess that the Vaultkeeper is a Banker, and the Thaumaturge is for reforging, making it seem like this is part of a city.I wonder what the Warpweaver does though...
that architecture looks more like alliance than horde
Consider this, War of The Ancients is due to pop up sooner or later in the coming patch cycle along with Deathwing so that logically, I know something dangerous and generally a bad idea in concerns with activision-blizzard, so why would Etherals be involved in something that A) Happened Thousands of years previously or B) isn't a matter of their concern since theres no profit involved cause they are like the the goblins. But say these guys are popping up in coming patch cycle, with titles or class/job names like "Reforger" and "Void Vault" those kinda sound like Enchanter dudes OR a Banker, a Reforger, and since transmogrification means essentially transforming something to something else perhaps something of vendor or exchanger or even the long demanded armor tweaker/dyer.So with that in mind and with the trademark of "Mists of Pandaria" just recently perhaps blizz is hitting us with a one-two punch of Pandaren and Ethereals and a new hero class of Monk/Brewmaster which would when people remember how Ethereals fight work for both races quite well. Since common complaints for Cata outside of game play and general content were "Grr Twilight Werewolves! Stupid Blizz!" or "Goblins are stupid give us something kewl!" perhaps they thought "Well Goblins and flimsy storyline Werewolves didn't work lets use something demanded for years by the community for races AND throw in a new class since we already are evil and are going to screw them with content again! MUAHAHAHA!" cause come on you all can see someone at blizz doing that with the evil laugh added.-EDIT-As pointed out to me by a friend when discussing this they mentioned the Ethereum Group or a group of Ethereals at least were cutting deals with the Blue Dragons during Wrath. With a certain Blue now ascended to the New Aspect perhaps those alliances were maintained and all we're seeing is Ethereals setting up shops in major cities on behalf of the Wyrmrest Accord or the Blue Dragonflight to foster good relations, while the Ethereals own natural greed (and through their alliance with the Blues) were persuaded to 'assist' by selling or dealing certain goods to expedite Deathwing's demise.
And now you'll have people complaining about energy beings and pandas; you'll never make all the people happy.
i think it would be sweet to have them as playable races but start out nuetral and you could choose your faction at the end of the starting quests.
