I rlly hope it will come even 2 more new races, as mentioned longer up here, Pandarem - Alliance, Ethereals - HordeAnd it would ofc be cool and nice with a 15-man raid for those that thinks that 10-man is to easy and 25-man is to hard, so big acceptance from me there. And congratulation siiz for the staff/mount
Pandaeren won't be a playable race. Why? One of the original Warcraft artists was drawing a series of pictures of pandas in samurai armor. The Chinese Government found this offensive since their nation's animal was wearing the war armor of their enemy. They also strongly disliked the idea that "their" Panda was a killable mercenary and did bring up big tensions. Blizz doesn't like dealing with unnecessary conflicts so they just won't throw them in. Ever. Imo, they should make Ogres for Horde and Ethereals for Alliance.First off I agree with Ogres, personally I'd like to see the High Elves for the Alliance. Bring all of the core races from WC2 into WoW finally. Plus I'd love the tension between High Elves and Night Elves as a story point for Alliance in the future. Since the population is on the rise again (Hinterlands, Silver Covenant etc) the High Elves should be back in the Alliance.Secondly I heard about the thing with China, but I also know theres a MMORG in China right now that DOES have Panda animorphs and from my understanding you can outfit your character in the game as you please which DOES include Samurai and Ninja outfits (or so i'm told). So they cant really say a lot against Wow at this point, especially since the Pandaren are not a direct reference to China or Japan but are an entirely fictional, if someone oriental-themed, race in a fantasy game. To be frank, you could have Panda's dancing Ballet in pink tutus and other then the potential loss of accounts in China (dear god who will spam trade selling gold?), there's not much China can do about it. China owns Pandas in that every living Panda is state property, that doesn't give them image rights to the animal, they cant copyright an animal or trademark it. All in all I still think Pandarens as a neutral race, either as quest givers or as the first third faction race, representing a neutral stance between the Alliance-horde conflict. Hopefully followed by the other like, 20 races that dont make sense in Ally/Horde.
i think it would be sweet to have them as playable races but start out nuetral and you could choose your faction at the end of the starting quests.I think that would be a cool idea for any of the races... the option of either choosing a side, remaining neutral, or siding with individual races. Being able to "join" an existing side faction due to your chosen class would be interesting, too. (Druids join the Cenarion Circle, Shamans join the Earthen Ring, etc); it would help maintain your neutrality to join a faction that was beyond the quarrels between Alliance and Horde... I always wanted to be like Malfurion, or Jaina. But I'm really looking forward to the possibilities for the Ethereals and the Pandaren, and especially an updated and reconstructed Outlands / Draenor. I'd also like dragons to be a playable race. ;)Many congratulations to Siiz and Premonition! :)
Guess we know who doesent have a life :)
I'm really hoping for Ethereals, just so I can get them a Crawling Claw.
Ive heared blizz gona remove the DK class, delete all players DK's and such, and in return we gets gold, plz dont let the rummors be true

Ethereals will NEVER be Horde/Alliance, They are the most neutral race in the Nether and Azeroth(?), I see a new faction coming...
