honestly i am more more worried what this means for cata i mean we are only 9 months into the expac plus i heard that blizz is planning on making next patch last is blizz planning to cut this expac early?
For those disputing the timing, both Wrath and Cata were announced at the Blizzcon immediately following the release of the previous expansions. This is an announcement, not a release. The expansion would be a late 2012 early 2013 release giving plenty of time to wrap up cataclysm events. As for the title, I think this is the new expansion title. Introducing the monk/brewmaster as a hero class would be an unexpected, and potentially rewarding, surprise. As for content, I think this is likely the emerald dream expansion pack many have been waiting for. If Blizzard named the expansion anything even alluding to the color green, the internet might possibly explode. Therefore, the expansion is named after the introduced hero class and not the major part of the content.
First of all "Mists of Pandaria" isn't a name that is going to attract people like Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, or Cataclysm. The name needs to be something that doesn't sound, quite frankly, ridiculous. Second, I really don't think you can make a whole expac of Pandaria. It would make sense to include Pandaria as a zone in an island expac ro something along those lines, but not as the whole thing. Think about past expacs. BC brought us to a whole new world. WotLK gave us a new continent. Cata remade the whole world and brought five large and quest-heavy zones. A Mists of Pandaria expac simply doesn't sound like an expac, it sounds like a patch or cheap downloadable game.
If this is an expansion I will be severely disappointed. Like, as in, I would quit World of Warcraft forever if this was released as a serious expansion. If Blizzard is going to start publishing content patches for money, ESPECIALLY if instead of expansion packs, I will also be severely disappointed as it's just another money grabbing move that will steal content away from quality patches. Unless they remove the monthly subscription, we better be getting our money's worth... and to be frank with you, I prefer a monthly subscription over micro transactions a thousand times over.I'm hoping this is a red herring or something smaller scale, such as a novel. I really, really hope this isn't serious.
The mists of Pandaria; i hope that wont be existing,Emerald Dream or something new would sound much better,I've heard somewhere a story bout lost Ilidans followers and it would be cool if that was true, also about some new classes/races it would be awesome if you would set up a new class, because we just got our new 2 races.Maybe a new planet or a new type of moving ingame or something like that.
Heres what I think it should be: The Aspects along with Thrall defeat Deathwing. Thrall becomes the Aspect of Earth but before he becomes empowered he goes back to Orgrimmar and tells Garrosh he is no longer warchief. Garrosh, in a fury, attacks Thrall. Before he gets the final blow Vol'jin shoots him in the heart. Thrall appoints Vol'jin as warchief but refuses as he doesn't want to become power crazed. Instead Thrall contacts Saurfang and he becomes the new warchief. All is right for a few months. The Aspects go around, healing the world. On a island to the south known as Pandaria, the Pandaren watch over the imprissoned Old God N'zoth. Out of nowhere, the shores are attacked by hundreds of naga, sent by Queen Azshara to free their master. The Pandaren send ambassadors to both the Alliance and Horde asking for help. As both factions push back the hordes of naga, the Pandaren decide to join both factions in their war agaisnt an unfamiliar enemy. They even go as far as to teach both factions the way of the Brewmaster. There, ending to Cata and lore for the Pandaren. Since Blizz likes the whole two new races, then a hero class tradition, giving both Horde and Alliance Pandaren doesnt really count and we would get the Brewmaster as the hero class. Level cap raised to 90, new islands to explore (Pandaren, Kul'tiras, Zandalar) as well as the city of Nazjatar (under water zone), Main villain Queen Azshara with Tyrande and Malfurion playing the protagonists of the expansion. Of course Emerald Dream couldn't be next expansion since it was fixed in the novel Stormrage.
1. Well if you read Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects you can see Thrall would fit being as Aspect perfectly, dragon or not.2.They may respect each other but Thrall is not happy that Garrosh killed Cairne and Garrosh is power crazed and would do anything to keep his position.3. I don't ever remember Vol'jin promising that and besides, he told Garrosh he was gonna kill him.4.I know the orcs wouldn't follow a non orc, and neither would I.5. Well the only other orc I could see becoming warchief is Eitrigg.
Well then who could be the friggen Aspect of Earth? I mean there is NO one who could fit the role. I've done the starting zone and tho vol'jin promised he would stay with the Horde he also told Garrosh he would be the one who fired the arrow that pierced his heart.
Well I doubt the aspects would want any black dragons as the aspect and the netherwing, tho were black dragons be being mutated, probably would just come forward be like oh yeah we'll take the job. As for garrosh, well almost no one likes him being warchief and would rather have him resign or be killed off.
Oh and Thrall is now dedicated to the Earthen Ring and I doubt he would give that up since his life mate pushed him so hard to give up his mantle of warchief.
