Zarhym's response made me chuckle. Now it's 100 people, though! OMG, twice as many people are on Ragnaros-H. Must be close to them releasing 4.3 info. >.<No matter what though, people are going to cry about how easy heroic modes are and that Blizzard failed to deliver challenging content. It's kinda sad for the rest of the raiding community to have whiners and negative nancies. :/Good on the pro super duper elite guilds for killing their lives for a week to try and be in the top spot for clearing heroic Firelands. The rush really must take its toll on each individual's relationships, health and income. But to each his and her own, right? What it means is that they are simply doing what they do; and it will never mean that the content is "cleared". But as I said above, it's just sad that there will always be people who simply can't see it that way, no matter where they are personally with their own raiding guild.
Pretty sure 4.3 is going be a CoT instance.
Pretty sure 4.3 is going be a CoT instance.Knowing their current pattern of updates, it'll probably be more 5-mans.
4.3 = Abyssal Maw4.4 = Wherever the heck Deathwing's gone to roost so we can kill him.Though, it wouldn't surprise me if they added a smaller patch in-between somewhere like 4.1 was. Also, an Old God should make an appearance somewhere... likely in the Abyssal Maw (I know we all want to fight Queen Azshara too, but she can't die yet as we haven't been to Nazjatar. She may be the penultimate boss, and pull a Kael).
Oh thank god. I got sick of my pets aggroing everything under the sun when I was mounted.
Nooo We definitely discovered the Ancient Lava Dweller last night. Halfway through the ranged slowly killing it, we said "Oh. Hey. Who has a Loot-a-rang? Neilaren has a Loot-a-rang! Quick, make her master looter!" Sure enough, an epic dropped off the worm once killed. We figured we could then farm it, but I think we only killed it twice since, with 1 more epic resulting. And they hotfixed it! No! They caught on! Just when Engineering got the spotlight... That's what this really is about. >:|
Pretty sure 4.3 is going be a CoT instance.I hope, and I hope for a future, literally. If I want past instances I'll go play WC1 2 or 3.
I remember reading somewhere about something going down in the Nexus with the blue dragonflight, who want to put money on the next patch being a CoT where you fix whatever issue is arising while they pick Maly's replacement?
@DogterDoom, All of the blue dragonflight is being resolved with the new legendary quest, so that is kinda out of the question.Meanwhile, for those who don't know Blizz told some sort of people somewhere that there would be a CoT raid in cataclysm for the end of the War of the Ancients (when the original Well of Eternity went blamo and created what Azeroth looks like today). This may still be what they are up to (and likely is, I would LOVE to see that done) but they may have changed it. This event has NEVER been playable before in any of the WCs or anywhere in WoW, so it is about time.
It'll be War of The Ancients hands down in 4.3.What they implied in that post was that a new raid is coming with that patch.
They need to bring out a series of instance which progress in tiers. You go in with no gear, they give you a set of gear and as you kill monsters, you recieve progressively better gear. and gold. then at the end you recieve your real world item. Have like 5 tiers, and each lvl has a specific class advantage/penalty in gear and all together xp. (I.E lvl 1 20% exp, or for max, gold, penalty Vs. lvl 5 tier 20% exp or gold bonus). give it a heroic mode for the higher levels and give it a 10, 25, and 40 man raid capability. it would bring back the originalty of just good old /2 LFG ________
4k honor isn't much at ll compared to how much some people had to grind - it's nice of them to do that, but by the 19th most people would have grinded their honor gear anyway. And how are they going to compensate all those arena/rbg players who earned their Vicious gear through conquest points? Seeing as they have to spend time grinding BGs so they aren't at a disadvantage in Arena/RBGs against people who have more game time to farm the honor quickly - instead of spending more time working on their ratings.Wouldn't it had made more sense, and been MUCH simpler to just upgrade the stats for the current vicious gear? They've adjusted stats in the past to compensate with stat changes - I just don't see why they didn't.

Deepholm, after all, has no raid instance. There will likely be a lot of Deathwing-hunting prior to the raid, as well as invasions, etc, etc. Can't forget there's probably more 5-mans too.4.5: Old God. Maybe in the Tomb of Sargeras or something like that (even though it was noted that this may appear in a different expansion instead). This raid tier may instead be PRIOR to the Deathwing tier. More 5-mans is good too.4.5.5: Interlude raid/content that transitions to the next expansion (or something of sorts)
Except they've said that the Maw storyline was all wrapped up and don't have a plan at this time to revisit it.
Except they've said that the Maw storyline was all wrapped up and don't have a plan at this time to revisit it.Eh. Either way, CoT: WotA would be enough. I was just wishfully thinking (and they sometimes go back on this. Besides...there's still the Battlemaiden storyline they mentioned they wanted to go further into!)
It'll be War of The Ancients hands down in 4.3.What they implied in that post was that a new raid is coming with that patch.OMG, imagine another CoT raid! (I was thinking CoT 5-man). WotA would be absolutely epic. And it would finish with the destruction of the Well, the forming of the Maelstrom and the transformation of High Elves into Naga. :oThe point? Unless the Well of Eternity explodes for the first time we can't have the Azeroth we know today. So we have to fix that and ensure that things go down as they did - otherwise something really sinister will happen (sorry, having a lore issue; it's too late to think of specifics).
CoT: WotA is confirmed. And it's probably a raid. I could hardly imagine it being a 5-man instance (maybe some choice parts, but who knows?)
4.3? I want 5.0 dammit!Cheers.
