My favorite moment in wow was when I had my first level 60 toon. The elation I felt after achieving that feat.. especially back when it would take weeks, months, or doing quests and grinding out levels to achieve it. I still play that toon today.
My favorite memory is undoubtedly when my guild first cleared Tribute to Insanity in 25-man. There was so much pressure and no one was joking around the whole time from Beasts to Anub. The stakes were so high, but we actually got it and did the achievement! It made us 9th US guild and something like 15th World guild. Such a good night!
My favorite memory is clearing Zul'Gurub for the first time at level 70 as a Night-elf priest, together with my twin-brother who played a Human rogue and my friend who played a Draenei paladin, all in almost full T6, that was the first time he really get to know my char, because in my guild, which was pretty pro, all the healers were awesome and we all knew the tacts, but jumping into an unknown raid, with noone to help you was AWESOME! I never had so much fun, getting some level 60 epics and making screenshots of the corpses from the bosses we killed. For three months we would return weekly to farm the tiger-boss and Mandokir, only saw the tiger drop once and it went to my friend, the paladin. It was the best gaming experience ever!
My favorite memory of WoW definitely has to be logging on to my first character, a Human Paladin, running to Goldshire after just figuring out the controls and seeing a mass of Horde. I proceeded to attempt a log out but.. it didn't work. Took me 30 minutes to figure it out! Hahaha. It's my favorite memory because it was actually the first day I played WoW.
Sometimes I go back to Shadowglen in Teldrassil, just because back then my greatest challenge was to leave that place and explore the world, and now the greatest challenge is to save the world. When the music plays, I remember starting years ago, and I see myself now being a completely different character and player.
My favorite memory from WOW was when I completed the Paladin Mount Quest Chain and got my mount. I had only been playing a short time and three of my guild mates took me under their wing, after I had done all the research, and helped me get through all the steps along with a few random guild members. After I got my mount there was a small ceremony held by the 3 guild members where they presented me with some potions, a little gold and a few other items. To me this was a shining example of how incredible this game could be and how awesome some of the players of this game could be. The mount was pretty cool too.
My favorite memory was raiding in Vanilla Nax. Now I'm not one of those with rose colored glasses saying that Vanilla was best but I had a great time with my guild back then. The guild I was in at the time had become top guild on the server and we had a lot of great players. We all had a blast throwing ourselves at those bosses again and again to get all the server firsts.
My favorite memory of WoW has to be the first time My guild and I downed 10 man Yogg-saron with no keepers when Ulduar mattered. (We weren't server first before you ask) The joys looking at the flying spaghetti monster (Yoggy's Brain) The joys of seeing all the awesome events that happened while you were inside it. Oh! and the introduction of the Sanity Meter! We'd wipe so much working on it cause a few people went completely Insane, (Including me) That was also the raid i began my tanking career. Yogg-Saron was a very unique fight, and ill remember it to this day.
My favorite memory in WoW was logging in at a friends house (met her in game) to tell my guild that my wife and I were having a great time at her place. Got may jealous remarks for that one :)
i think my favorite time was back in vanilla when me and few guildies killed a couple of hordies in southshore and one thing led to another, next thing you know we had 2 full raid groups of world pvp epicness. It sucks that it probibly wont ever happen again since southshore got such beating from deathwing, but i will always remember the good times back then.
My favorite memory from Wow was during Vanilla WoW when i went to Old Ironforge. Only a few actually new about the cheat, and the hidden throne beneath IF was just as amazing. It was unfortunate i had to pay 50g to the warlock who showed me place, and during the time 50g meant a lot.
My favorite memory was when our guild, currently working on Black Temple, decided to have a fun night, and set up three 10 man groups. We all went into Kara and raced each other to the finish line. We were on vent the entire night, going "MAIDEN DOWN!" and racing our way to Prince.
My first experience with fishing, definitely. I turned off the interface and just sat there listening to the rain and the serene background music. I wasn't disturbed by anyone or anything for a good hour and it was exactly what I needed in real life. Perhaps particularly so since I love rain, but recently had to move to a prairie.
My favorite memory was when my guild spent weeks doing kara back in the day and struggling so hard to get through it, but when we finally got to the final boss and downed him, we all lot our voices and ear drums on vent
My favourite memory is probably hitting 60 and heading to Hellfire Peninsula, at the time I played on the Hellfire realm so heading to Hellfire on Hellfire seemed cool!
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why?Has to be the first time I saw Ragnaros coming up out of the lava in vanilla days. It just felt so epic to see that behemoth of a boss come out, doing his speech, and the proceed to beat the snot out of the raid for the next 20 wipes.Another memory that sticks right up there with the raggy encounter is world pvp in Tarren Mill...I was actually pretty pissed about battlegrounds coming out because it absolutely killed world pvp.
My fav moment in wow was Obtaining alll the enchant pattens!I spent time and dedication to collecting all the chants blizzard had released! im proud of what ive done!
I remember my first Onyxia 40-man kill, on October 31, 2006. So lucky that I even got the Dragonstalker's Helm on that day!
My favorite memory would have to be when I first started playing; way back when Vanilla had just come out. It was an amazing experience to explore all of the new nooks and crannies that I could find, and to continue the lore I began to find in Warcraft III. Being a hunter made it interesting to track enemies and see what I could tame, and it seemed like the ultimate class when I first started (how naive i was back then...). The character may have sucked in the end, but the memory of all the sights and adventures i had on him have hung on for years and live on in the rest of my characters, be they max or min lvl.
Falling off Thunder Bluff back in the day on accident, going off the bridge at a weird angle. I panicked because I had no light feathers for slowfall, and thought "well this is an embarrassing way to die for a mage. Hitting my keyboard in frustration, I blinked safely to the ground... the first time I realized you can do that. Nearly 6 years later, I've been diving off cliffs and blinking to the ground to save time and effort at every opportunity I get!
