Wow, engineers get ONE 'amazing' in whole patch, enchanters must be happy too
I remain puzzled by their mat selection choice. Perhaps it is just my server but Pristine Hides go for 300-400g each which makes eight of them worth 2400g, minimum. On the other hand, Hardened Elementium sells for 80g -100g each which means that ten of them goes for 800g, minimum. That's a huge difference in price for what are the main mats for leatherworkers vs the main mats for blacksmiths. It's also puzzling why BS only require one volatile (fire) and LW requires two (fire and water). I guess you could say that the volatile earth that makes up the Hardened Elementium bar is the other BS volatile but then you are in essence comparing 8 Pristine Hides which is equal to 80 Heavy Savage which is 400 Savage leather to 200 elementium ore. Saying 400 hides is equal to 200 ore doesn't makes any sense to me. It doesn't make any sense to my AH either, because that is not the way they are being valued. There is a reason a hide sells for three to four time the price of a bar. The hide takes much more time to produce. The way I see it the number of bars for BS needs to be greatly increased or the number for hides for LW needs to be reduced. It just doesn't make any sense the way it stands.
Don't mean to be negative, but I doubt AH pricing had anything to do with it. It would have made sense IMHO to factor "the economy" into the recipes (in some way), but I doubt very much that anyone from Blizzard devs or marketing plays WoW anywhere near as much as many of us. They probably have to rely on database reports rather than having a true sense of the economy which only comes from playing 40+ hours per week.But on the other hand ...Perhaps the recipes are based upon what they expect the economy to be in the future. As I understand it, these recipes will not be available until much of the Firelands daily content will have been completed by players (suggestions are about 6-8 weeks from release). So perhaps in this sense our current perceptions of the economy are misleading us when we try to interpret the ease of using these recipes.
Time to transmute and buy Truegolds.BTW, is WoW down?
nice craftable level 85 epic weapons
I personally would love to see Inscription make relics that are the are at tier or in the "slightly below" tier (so they don't overshadow the VP relics.) It's disappointing since we've finally gotten the ability and it become immediately obsolete by the first major raid patch.
I sure wish Dreamcloth wasn't BoP so maybe tailoring was of some use to other than the character who has it.
Holy pancakes! I am loving the BSing crafted gear. The 1H strength axe just makes me drool... Even the promise of being able to make a scythe (even if it's for huntards) is epic. Too bad there isn't a 2H strength scythe in the game (that I know of). That'd be so cool. ;~;
Nah - engineering sucks as much as that dumbass archeology. I've sat on 50 chaos orbs in the hope of something to make after 4.2 - my LW gets 45 items & my engineer gets 2 BFD. I'm done with engineering as soon as I make 1 and only gun for my Hunter.
Yah, engineering is a pretty much dead profession and enchanters may have to wait for next expansion. If you want to make nice stuff and gold BS is definitely the way to go since it's clearly profession number 1 for content designers
Where's my Top Hat recipe?
Why is this so incomplete? The information has been out there for a long time but almost all the Molten Front recipes aren't here.
My main is an enhancement shaman, and I was very dissapointed when i saw we were the only ones that don't have a weapon on this list. I'm hopeing that either they add one in, or(I really doubt this one) they will give us access to swords, but then the combat rogues will be whineing that were takieng their swords, and the other caster classes will complain that we can use all three 1 handed caster weapons(swords, daggers, and maces). I really just hope they add something in for us.
It shouldn't surprise me.... but yay for zero love for enhance shamans weapons... Thanks blizz!
