And I would think it's safe to assume that they'll get around to answering everyone eventually; as said, there were several hundred mails.
I've dropped you an email involving volunteering with the Wowhead client. I'm very interested in this because it's interesting technology and combines two things I love (programming and Wow). I hope I'll hear back from you guys soon. Also, on a side note, if there could be a wallpaper from the little picture by this newpost, that'd be awesome. :PEdit: actually I didn't realise this post was a bit old already and that there was so much interest in the positions. I guess I'm way too late and out of luck, I'll probably won't get picked out of the hundreds (or thousands) of applications by now. :P
Any chance of a quick confirmation that everyone picked has already been emailed? Given previous posts, I was surprised to not get any email at all.
Fair enough.I did state my interest only around 40 minutes after this topic was created, though - so if anyone's gotten replies, I'm surprised I haven't.No matter, though - there's no hurry, of course.
I know a guy who applied as soon as this thread went up, and 'they' haven't gotten a reply yet. This person checks e-mails once a day.And this person is anonymous. And I am not talking about myself.>.><.<
I still have a couple left to answer from last week, I've been answering ones that came in from the weekend first because they were sitting there. Midsummer and contest planning just crit me for a couple thousand today, but I will be replying to the stragglers ASAP (and it doesn't mean you were rejected or accepted if replied to quicker, btw).
I like to help and I do help -not sure if I have to apply to volunteer -sounds weird lol. :PIn any case I believe in doing good and being noticed by others and not having to tell others "hello look at me I am helping out", does not feel right.
Being a volunteer is not only about official recognition - you gain access to some handy tools too, so you can deliver your helpfulness in even more flavors.
Grats Squish! You certainly deserve it!
Grats squish! and also grats to Asakawa!
