Wow, nice! I have 2 pets left before Celestial Dragon... conveniently, I have not done the questing to get the Flamefly and Brazle's sunflower yet!
OMG. My druid totally needs Mylune's Call. Sooooo many RP opportunities there!
It first happened with Willy, and now we will be telling that certain raid member to stop showing everyone their Nuts.
Mylune's Call lasts 30 seconds?=(
I <3 Blizzard so much right now. I can't wait for 4.2!
...There's also 3 new vanity pets for 4.2 which aren't tied to an achievement...Yea, we wanted to preview them as well, but the Hyjal Bear Cub was giving me an error ("This spell is not available to you"), and we don't have the other quests/stages completed. There will be part 2 :)
I have 149 pets right now (all the Blizzard Store pets, and Blizzcon 2010 Deathy pet, but no other 'redeem' pets of any kind unfortunately...not even collector's edition pets *sad face*). (Oh wait, I also have the warbot back from the Mountain Dew promotion and I have the penguin from when Battle.net was added in. And the baby Blizzard bear and the Onyxian whelpling from the anniversaries. But other than that no one-time pets either.) I know I'm going to be one of the first people on my server to get the 150 pets pet and hopefully I can show it off a lot before it becomes really common.Non-redeem pets I still need include two more pets from Children's Week (would've finished that this year but then they sprung two new pets on us! Hopefully one year I'll finally be able to catch up and get 'em all. /Then/ they can come out with more. =P) I'm glad the Dalaran version was fixed finally and I was able to get the 2nd pet out of those two. Also need the claw from Archy and the new troll pet. And also isn't there a fossil pet? I don't do Archy enough, I'm still not a Professor yet. Midsummer's coming up and hopefully the Frigid Frostling will still be available and I'll get it this year (I missed out last year because I wasn't aware of the new pet until after the holiday ended *sad face*). And lastly the Shale Spider and Fox Kit just need to be farmed for and I hate farming so that's why I don't have those yet. And I'm just a couple reps away from 55 for the dark phoenix unless someone else in my guild gets it first. Other than that, I think I have pretty much every non-redeem pet available. You can check my progress as Thortok on Ner'zhul. If anyone cares. =PI'm thinking this achievement will be possible, but really difficult, to achieve in this patch without some Blizzard Store or other redeemable pets, at least until they come out with more in future patches. I wouldn't be surprised if, including the new pets in 4.2, there are exactly 150 pets available outside of one-time pets and trading card and blizzard store. I remember when 75 was the maximum and people were like "omg that's too hard we'll never get 75 pets" but of course they just keep coming out with more. At least a few people (myself included) will have 150 the moment this comes out. (The pets from 100 and 125 will tip me to 152 and earn me the 150 immediately. If for some reason they don't activate immediately upon 4.2 then I can just grab one of the new 4.2 pets to hit 150 with.)I'm glad to finally get the other pet from Egg Wave. It did kind of annoy me that you had to choose one and were permanently locked from ever having the other.I love having pets, my favorite part of the game. And I recommend the PetLeash addon to all other pet lovers too. It does everything you could ever want in a pet addon. I remember back in classic, before BC even came out, I picked my favorite pet at the time (bombay cat) and carried it with me and always summoned it everywhere I went. Even in the 5-hour long Alterac Valley battles, every time I rez'd I'd use a global cooldown to reactivate the cat as I buffed up before mounting. Those were the days! Now it's automatic and random and doesn't take inventory space at all, awesome!I'm not quite as big a mount hunter as I am a pet hunter, I mostly get the mounts just for the achievement's sake, but new mounts are fun too. Just not as fun as new pets. ^_^
The celestial dragon is gorgeous but I'm afraid that if it really zips around non-stop it's going to give me headaches after a while ... Still I'm super happy it's the 150 pets reward, I got my 150th pet not long ago, and I'm stupidly proud to say only one of them is from the Blizz store (been collecting pokem.. err... non-combat pets for a long time now)
...There's also 3 new vanity pets for 4.2 which aren't tied to an achievement...Yea, we wanted to preview them as well, but the Hyjal Bear Cub was giving me an error ("This spell is not available to you"), and we don't have the other quests/stages completed. There will be part 2 :)Nice! And yeah I saw a bug report on the WoW forums about the Bear Cub. I hope his animations involve hunny. =D
I was hoping for 100 pets reward to be a Dalmatian. Making my 101st pet a Dalmatian just sounds fitting, I can't quite put my finger on why, but it does.
Lol nothing makes raids more unenjoyable than having nuts all over ya
Lol nothing makes raids more unenjoyable than having nuts all over yaCan't wait to hear Raid Leaders yelling about it.
holy cow! its blizz's recycling bin of vanity pets, but really the CD on some of these vanity items still seems a bit long...

This squirrel will be a reward for Petting Zoo. While he looks cute, he pelts his owners with nuts and stuns them periodically--we can't wait to see how many raid wipes he causes.OMFG. If only it could stun other people...that would be like Fortune Card! =D
I'll finally feel like Snow White in-game thanks to Mylune's Call.
OMG. My druid totally needs Mylune's Call. Sooooo many RP opportunities there!QFT.I am liking the pets for sure but that effect is really pretty awesome. Just imagine throwing it down in Uldum or some other wastelands area (Blasted Lands, I'm looking at you) and voila! A pretty little patch of life!
Can't wait for 4.2 and my Celestial Dragon! Got 164 pets and am looking forward to adding more to my collection. Mylune's call is nice as well for my RP collection too :D
I'm really puzzled by some of the claims people are making about their pet collections. As things stands today my list on warcraft pets shows me collecting 134/149. That is, even if I collected every pet it's possible for me to collect I won't hit 150 at the start of 4.2. Once you eliminate all the pets from the pets store, all the collector edition pets, and all the pets that are no longer in the game/were not released to the US market, and the loot card pets you are left with 155 pets. But some of those pets are RNG based. For example, I have yet to get any pet to drop for me from the summer holiday or the Valentine's holiday despite three years of doing them every single day. And in six months of trying (admittedly not every single day but close) I've got exactly two dailies towards Pebble.I'm not begrudging people their pets. But either you spent a pretty penny on your pets, got extremely lucky with drops, have been collecting since beta, or some combination thereof. For anyone else, I don't see 150 pets being realistic, not even in this expansion.
I love Nuts; the squirrel pet is awesome: He attacks Players and NPC's a like just for the hell of it.....new favorite pet and if he ever conks Egbert, I'll be happy for the rest of my life.Hate Egbert so very much, want to smash him, want to crush him, damn thing getting me killed!
