All im gonna say is Tauren priest are gonna look like they just came back from the vet LOL Cone helm for the lose!
pal and dk's are the best among those IMO.
@ CharliemanI agree. Why does the Pally armor look more like cloth. The other plate sets are really nice, but we get stuck in skirts. WTF?
not sure if someone pointed this out yet, but for the classes without obvious choices for colors, i believe they fell back background colors for spec talent trees. For warriors:Arms - OrangeFury - RedProt - Greythis matches with the tier colors. This mixed with a few interventions on what would be a better color (thinking rogue tier)edit: wonder if this means they are doing away with spec tier gear, and just going class tier that adjusts to spec. Or if the respective role tier will just adjust to spec
The Hunter Helm doesn't look too aweful. Especially compared to the piece we have right now. If you don't like the pirate idea, try to imagine them wearing the eyepatch to increase their accuracy as they look down the barrel of their gun or the sights of their crossbow. It's a bit of a stretch, since I'm using the engineering helm, it's not that big of a difference.
Why is the Shaman tier left for the end.
Can't Wait To See the rest
Is the Tier 12 armour going to be purchasable with some sort of point currency, or are they going to make it Boss loot only?
I'm not disagreeing, but what about hunters having four?
I've an idea.Instead of recoloring the same sets think more and make armor that looks good and not like recylced metal scraps.Vanilla and TBC had the best looking gear. This is just sad, talking about some recoloring instead of opening your eyes.
rogue and pally also make sense for the spec color change but then hunter has 4 colors
rouge looks ok for specced color changegold for combatpurple for assassination gray for sub
Lol don't try the priest/tauren male combination
I do not think that it should be according to spec. What would marksmanship even be? bright red and white? we should get to choose our own colors. I could care less if I had to deal with 5,000,000 bugs, I don't want blood red armor for frost spec. We should have what colors we want to have more fun. After all, if you take away fun, what reason is there to play? I hated that they scrapped the t11 unholy style green set, bad as the glow was. Also, from a PVP standpoint, if you can tell your opponents spec the instant you see them coming, you can prepare for their specific spec, giving defenders a "advance warning" system, so to speak. Healers would get nailed almost immediately by any rogues, DPSers could be handled, and tank specs could be ignored for a short period. It would totally revamp PVP strategy, and turn it into a different kind of "gear war". Hunter gear looks EXACTLY like you skinned a goblin, took a hippogryph's horns, and a pirates eye-patch and threw it together in about 2 mins. Not everyone wants to look like a 1-eyed weirdo. DK's got cheated again. Good helm and spaulders, at the very least they aren't as bland as the rest of their armor. Oh, and worgie priests get to have a collar.
actully, ive thought that for a long time. Ive never managed to get any of my high-level characters besides my main the latest set of tier before another is release ( :P ) but i've never liked the thought of playing a frost mage in a red, lava-themed set or a sublety rogue in a silvery-white suit, etc etc...
Will someone point me in the direction of the lead designer of the hunter armor sets, because I'm going to ****ing strangle them fro ruining an epic set of armor by adding a bloody eye patch and freakin ears to it. I mean come on, do you have to bring your pirate fetish into the damn game.Times like this are when I like the hide helm option, but for once I'd actually like to find a helm that didn't make me look like a circus act.
Also the warrior could be like that also it could go arms/prot/fury but that would make sense if thats what they decide to do.
