Except it won't make any difference on less mobile fights.
Why the hell PRIEST spells have to be WHEN PARTY MEMBERS USE! Nobody likes to pay attention somewhere else in fight to search for clickable healing... Give it to Pallies, they'r spells always Additional healing to nearby targets...And what the #$%^ with mage's? arcane missiles while moving? they already topping DPS after 4.1.0 and now more?YeA....Well let's be fair.Arcane Mage is one of the most immobile dps casters out there.
I dont get Rogue 4 piece can someone explain to me what "combat rating" is?
I dont get Rogue 4 piece can someone explain to me what "combat rating" is?Haste, Crit, Mastery, Hit and Expertise. They'll probably exclude Expertise though, as that's the only one I can imagine no rogue (should) benefit from getting more of, compared to the others.
just remember that you are getting this gear FROM bosses, not as armor AGAINST them. Therefore it has fire damage, just as the bosses that will drop it. would you want Ragnaros or someone to drop item that boosts frost damage or wtf?You are not supposed to come fight in tier 12, but to fight FOR it. Once you get it, it will be pretty useless for whole Firelands, but I doubt next patch bosses will also be fire. They'll probably be Naga or something, and these bonuses will do greatly till you get t13 then..Anyway it would be nice if those t12 item themselves had some bonus Fire resistance on them... or let us make our own? it would be nice to have questlines to obtain fire resist gear, just like vanilla Naxx if I remember correctly. And also give us enchants for it :)
Between our DPS 4pc and the fact that 2/3 Firelands trinkets are crit related this is a clear push in favour of Frost and Killing Machine over Unholy as a DPS raiding spec.If they wanted to make it any more obvious they'd start giving mobs Shadow Resistance and pet killing abilities -.-
Hunter 2pc bonus "dealing 0% instant weapon damage as Fire." This is a typo I'm assuming?More than likely it's a scaling value, so there wouldn't be a set number until we know exactly what it scales with.

Albeit, your observation is true for the 4pc bonus. The overuse of the fire theme is really quite annoying. Homogenization ftw. /sarcasm
I agree with other posters, the amount of fire on these set bonuses seem almost obscene. Also, will the Rogue 2p-set bonus stack? In that case I'll be so far ahead on dps people won't even see me on Recount O.oNew, innovative set-bonuses are cool, sure, but x% fire damage on half the bonuses doesn't quite do it imo ^^

In that case I'll be so far ahead on dps people won't even see me on Recount O.oIt will likely work the same way that Deep Wounds refreshes, in that any remaining damage from a previous tick will be 'rolled in' with the refreshed duration. So far from the PTR testing that has been done, the Rogue 4pc seems to be limited to Crit, Haste and Mastery. At least Blizzard wasn't silly and allowed it to increase combat ratings that are often ignored or at a certain rating for a reason. I am a little sad though that it's DBW-style RNG all over again. If they were to make it just increase the best stat by a percentage that would likely work out better. Combat and Assassination have widely differing values on our combat ratings, so working out the balance of the set bonus between the two specs would be difficult.
To anyone saying these set bonuses are too OP, consider how challenging they are going to be making Firelands raid. Most likely these set bonuses will be practically necessary for Rag.
On the Hunter bonus, I believe it's a filler for the real number which has yet to be tested and set. Also, what about the 4 set bonus. Will this also proc on the extra auto shots from MM Mastery? If yes, then this is disappointing, because it will benefit MM more than Survival and BM. MM is currently the highest raid DPS. While this may change come 4.2, I doubt it. I don't want the 4 piece bonus to benefit the already best DPS spec.
Seriously. Why should our damage also do fire damage when fire enemies are immune to fire damage...Cata has made it where no elemental is immune to its element, just more resistant. Which is why as my fire mage I can now kill fire elementals with fireball and pyroblast. The fire damage from the 2 sets will be a dps/threat increase all around.
Is Burning Blood giving the debuffs those diseases come with? I.e. 10% physical damage reduction and 20% attack speed reduction? Because if not it's rather useless.
I like both ret bonuses.
Looks like as a mage I get to summon INFINITE MIRROR IMAGES! WOOOOOT!3 mirror images + MOAR!
Mmm resto shaman bonuses sound great.i have to dissagree with you, the math shows that 1% of our base mana is 200, a normal shaman has 8 riptide ticks, with a 40% chance to proc it is around 3 ticks granting the proc, thats a total of 600 mana, of the 2k riptide cost makes it go to 1400, and has a CD of 6 seconds, thats like saving 500MP5, and being RNG...still hate that blizz makes shaman RNG dependant and dont make it scale with gear (water shield pasive and active, weapons inbue, etc)
Looks sooooooo epic!"I WANT IT, I WANT IT , I WANT IT !" ~Paris Hilton from south park
ooo hunter 4 pc sound sweet more aim shots!
The 4p for shamans is rather crappy also.
