I like the current one because they have the best stats.
Warlock's T5 Malefic Raiment was the best one, love the wings
I'm not eligible, but I have to say that rogue t2, Bloodfang, is the BEST EVER. Well, the stats on some pieces were miserable and I passed on half the items in vanilla as a result, but it looked amazing. The red detailing on the black armor is so striking without being garish, it's really the iconic rogue set. When I wear it in SW now, I get comments asking me what heroic boss it drops from. Warlock/priest t6 are close runner-ups--warlocks for the neon wing helms and priests for the chained shoulders.
Priest's T5 Avatar Raiment , especially the little wings on shoulder, with the complete set, the healer surelly look like an angel.
My favourite tier is the paladin T4, Justicar Armor. To keep it simple, it was the first paladin tier that actually looked like a battle armour. T1 was the banana, T2 was a bit too ceremonial and T3 was robocop.Justicar had the look of a plate armour meant for crusaders in the front line, although that's a bit biased against holy paladins.A close second would be the Righteous Armor, but it wasn't as nearly as awesome in stat allocation.
Mine is the Valorous Kirin Tor Garb, because of how awesome Mages looked in something resembling actual armor and not a fancy bathrobe. :)
My facorite tier was t9, Simply because the set bonuses brought nearly everyone to the same level of gameplay. When you combine that with the ease of accessability and general good looks, it balanced out nicely with the them and pace of that patch. Also, they were as easy to get as linen cloth in RFC (which bought me my first mount at level 60 back in vanilla). The final point they had going for them is you could alter the color of them by picking up the heroic drops from ToC. I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION THE ITEMIZATION! They had wonderful itemization, for the classes I play, anyways.-Wealth will not save the wealthy, Hope will not save the hopeful. Change is coming, and my heart is on fire.-Peritor, Mok'Nathal
My favorite gear set has to be the Paladin T2 set. Yes, the fabled Judgement Set. The pure elegance of the model and it being for paladins just fits so beautifully with the lore behind paladins. It brings ferocity to the table while looking good doing it.
Warlock T5 is probably hands down the best because of the helm. Though I did like my DK T10 set Scourgelord's Battlegear.
Mage T6 has been my favorite. Just the overall look over it "screamed arcane wielder...don't mess with me".
Rogue T2 all the way. Best looking set ever made.http://www.wowhead.com/itemset=213#.
Hmmmm, well considering I did most of my raiding during Wrath, and my main for the expansion was my DK, I'd have to say its a toss up between T10 Scourgelord's Battlegear and T8 http://www.wowhead.com/itemset=835. Both were not only satisfying stat-wise (at the time), but really made my character look the part (and made up for the dissapointment that was T9).
Druid T1, because being an ovenmit in the molten core was completely awesome.
For me it has to be the Tier 1 Mage set for 2 reasons. It was the first and only full & complete tier set I ever got way back in the MC days, good times. And it also looked awesome
Priest T5 and the staff that goes with it definitely. It's like you have a mini you on a staff. :D
Paladin T2! Judgment Set is the best! (Judgement Armor) It's got everything you need and it's the quintessential Paladin set. A lot of fan art involves this set, it's got great shoulders and the helm is astounding. If I ever rolled a paladin I would need the heck out of this outfit.-Mac.
Druid T1. :3 Antlers and shrubbery never go out of style.
Druid T5 is my personal favorite, I absolutely loved the way those shoulders looked and actually still have most of the set in my bank. Makes me a bit sad that I don't play my druid anymore.
The new T12 something new to shoot for
Warlock Tier 5 was always my favorite. I love the "I eat babies and drink unicorn tears" color scheme. The chains and skulls are great accents to that. Too bad I never got the entire set. *le sigh*
