This is so cute! I love that Blizz is doing this! Thanks for the give away WoW head!
I'm not trolling, just saying what is on my mind. Profits =/= total revenue. Blizz can adjust their profit margin , so don't be surprised if you see only a couple of bucks per pet actually going to charity.Once again, I'm not trolling, just sharing my thoughts with cyber-space. Cheers!Oh wow...People really will complain about anything.
Wow, cynical much? They said from now till July that the full amount will be going to the relief fund...after that point, it will probably be dropped in half. And the Pandaren and Moonkin pets still have a portion of their profits going to the charities even now.Accountant: "Well, we made $5,000 this month off sales of the older companion pets."Blizz: "Cool. Cut those charities a check for $50, I need some more gold-filament toilet paper."
One of my favorite vanity pet would be the fox kit. Because it has a low drop which make him kind of rare and not a lot of people work for him. :) also it has funny Idle Animation.
For those who are being cynical of blizzard.... You realize that they likely spent money out of their own pockets for actual donations. What they are doing is a way that people can donate to the effort while still getting something out of it. It also helps because those who are just in it for the pet are helping whether they like it or not.
100% of the proceeds? Good for you, Blizzard.
This is why Blizzard should never read any feedback about anything they do whiners over everything.Blizzard donates 10 million to charity and you would get comments like..."Why didn't you donate to xyz charity they are far better obviously?"America hasn't had any natural disasters on the level of this or higher since the small pox outbreak in the 1800's.
