The question is, will I be allowed to get this on my resto shaman? I suppose the int on this thing will make it BiS for healers too.
Should be quite an epic run to get this; looking forward to it. Although I just hope it's not as boring as the Shadowmourne chain...? Anyway, for me, the staff looks great - only thing 'missing' at final in my opinion is that the shaft should be much thicker, it looks too skinny and fragile; just try not to break it on that critter achievement farm >_>
Poor old Medivh....your stick-staff will always be in our hearts......After Shadowmourne, honestly, I was not expecting anything less from blizz.
Will "everyone" be able to get this? It seems like the steps are:1. Complete the current raids.2. Do the new firelands raid.Anything else I will need to do to be able to get it?What kind of stats do we think it will have? Will it be a caster weapon or something good for multiple classes?
PLEASE tell me my warrior can still get this. Turning into a blue dragon would simply be sooooooo epic.Damn, I should go level Locronos on an RPG realm quickly...
Depends on the definition of "everyone", it really is:Every staff wielding DPS caster, who has a guild, that has cleared all of the current raid content (4.0-4.1),will be eligible to start the quest chain. From there we don't know what will take place. I imagine the base of the staff will be some gold sink + drops from the current content (kind of like how Shadow's Edge was). After that each stage will get progressively more and more difficult to attain.Holy crap, we might have a real legendary on our hands people...
I'll definitely give it to you that there have been a good few number of legendaries that were (while still viable) tough to acquire. It's just been a while (time-wise).Nice to see a legendary that (at least in this early stage, on paper) will live up to its difficulty to get. Can't wait to see the proc!
I wonder how much it will vendor for...
I'd love to have a Legendary for my warlock, as I've never had one. I had Shadow's Edge on my DK, but never got Shadowmourne, as I wasn't actually raiding much, certainly not in Heroic.I suppose I might wait until 4.2 drops and then try to catch up a bit on my guild's alt-runs or something just to get the stage 1.
Great a weapon I have zero chance of ever actually getting. It's not enough that the top 5% of people are already getting the most content, now they're the only ones who will have a chance at a weapon that gives you a pet, turns you into a dragon, and god knows what else. If I said I wasn't disappointed I would be lying. And why are people complaining over what it looks like? you'll never get it anyways.
