Aw Meggie missed the boat.- Why are only hierarchical structures supported?
Meggie, what do you mean by that question?
so unless you were lucky enough to join a guild that the whole server joined , you are still boned . once again if your toons not in a cata zone you are still boned. o joy , a guild tabard will help ? what ever ! still dissapointed.
It seems that the new guild system is killing off the Pick Up Group culture in KR. In KR, raids were generally done through PUG and players did not care what kind of guilds they joined for raids. Can we expect more localized guild features to support the unique raid culture of the Korean region? –밥상의달인, Jeran, 블러드베인 How very interesting.Yes, we will continue to add rewards to the system as necessary. A great example is the guild reward we intend to add in patch 4.2 for guilds that obtain the new legendary staff. Guilds at level 25 also get the benefit of large gold deposits for completing Guild Challenges. Capping the guild system at level 25 felt right for the amount of content we wanted to provide in Cataclysm. We designed the system with expansions in mind, so raising the cap is something players will most likely see down the road.YAY!
We were careful to only choose perks that didn't contribute to player powerErm... pretty sure I don't have to list the many perks that in fact do contribute to player power. Honorable mention (Hah! Realized my pun after the fact) goes to a certain perk which has made itself well-known in Tol Barad by drastically increasing the mobility of the team.

Sorry Ashelia - Hate the questions font.Yuck.Cheers.
And by all means, please list the perks that contribute to player power."Passive-aggressive remark by Unofficial Blizzard Defender hits Rainemard for ____ damage!"I saw the hotfix when it only applied to exploits used in raids/battlegrounds; I wasn't aware Tol Barad had been added yet. My apologies. With that aside, that perk is still a large player power source, mainly for world PvP applications. You then have Mount Up and Fast Track which definitely add to player power. Thankfully they are low and easy to obtain by newer guilds. For Great Justice and Honorable Mention passively quicken the gearing process (and the very core of a player's power is gear, no?), while Bountiful Bags and Bartering are potentially huge sources of economic player power (As seen here). Personally I love all these perks, but I can picture myself just starting a guild and having all these guilds to compete with who have really nice advantages. It then struck me as funny when Draztal said what he did.
Sorry Ashelia - Hate the questions font.Yuck.Cheers.Hehe, not my doing ;) We're working on it, though, and it will be addressed. Headers look pretty bad in this new layout if it's more than one line of text!
I actually like the layout and font....
Sorry Ashelia - Hate the questions font.Yuck.Cheers.I like it. Looks professional.
Sorry Ashelia - Hate the questions font.Yuck.Cheers.I agree; it's really hard to read because the characters are so narrow. At least you guys are addressing it. :)So... maybe I will reach exalted with my guild during this patch, if they are increasing your guild rep. As a casual player, it takes forever to do anything, and guild rep is no exception. :)
I'm really enjoying the new Guild Features, but since I've been moving around since Cata, trying to find a spot in the sun, I haven't been able to enjoy everything, but with all the new stuff it seems I'll be catching up to my fellow guild members in a month or 2.
