Awesome. They took the suggestion. Can people stop complaining now?(It won't help people who can't tank or heal to save their lives...but RDF is skill-blind...sooooo.)
Hmm- depending on what drops, I might have to level my DK or Pally.
Still epic win. You can transfer your Reins from the bag to other char!Tanks, Blizz! Realy tanks!
While this is an improvement on the previous suggestion, it does still not cater to those who are pure dps players. While unfortunate, I believe this is the only way this can work.I'm not fussed in the end, my main is a Protection Warrior and this won't make me any more likely to use the LFD anyway as the reward is not worth the grief. As everything in those bags, I can grind hassle free anyway.
I didn't like the system prior but I really like it now. It seems a lot fairer and the best solution they could have had. I honestly didn't want to run dungeons on my main anyway even though I had a tank spec (and I was one of the lucky ones, pure DPS suffered much more). I don't need much from them. It'd be much better to make an alt and gear it up while also possibly getting a chance at an Anzu for my main.
Meh - slight improvement but some people just don't want to roll a tank or healer - they don't feel comfortable doing it. While I recognise there is an issue, I sense this may create more rage than it's worth.
That's a very nice addition. I like.
With this change, I'm starting to like the award system a lot more. Granted, it would mean that you'll have to go through the effort of levelling a tank/healer class and gear them up to heroic dungeon level, but I believe it isn't too steep - if the whole "tanks getting bags and you don't" bothers you enough, then you'll most likely be willing to put in that effort to benefit from it as well. With announcements like this, Blizzard shows that they do pay attention to what's said on (fanbased) sites and take complaints to heart if they're reasonable, contrary to what people often say. I applaud that.
(gets goodie bag on tank alt)(forgets BAG is BoA and once opened stuff inside is Soulbound)(Opens bag)(gets mount Has wanted for main forever)NOOOOOOOOOO!
Yay! I dont have alts... I will never get this item with my mage -.-
"able to be freely sent to other characters on your account once you receive it"Does that mean we will be able to send heirlooms to other realms in 4.1 too?
sounds like a great idea....not to learn to heal on my priest....
