i know it would take alot of work in my eyes and have some hicups of what do we do with this why not just make int. plate have more of a use make unholy dps give them in their tree something that converts int to str or along thoses lines and spirit to hit kinda like when they use to convert ap to sp
Vanilla stat allocation = put spirit on EVERYTHING. Leather and mail with Str/Stam/Intellect/Spirit is funny to look at (I think BC druid PvP gear had some of that too).
The only problem I see are the tier tokens, just having the tier tokens be divided up more between the classes would help A LOT. I mean you have 3 on 2 and 4 on another, this has been a problem in a lot of raids. A solution could be to simply add 2 tokens and split it up to 2 per token and have 2 tier tokens drop in 10 man and 3 in 25man. Or, better yet, have the Tier tokens be armor specific for Cloth, Leather, Mail, and Plate, you'd still have the same amount of competition per Item just less between say, DKs, Rogues, Druids, and Mages for 1 Token. With this model it'd be DK, Pally, Warr for one token, Hunters and Shamans for another, and so on and so forth. IDK just how I see it.
Eh, I think gear is in a pretty good spot right now, I don't see the problem with int plate myself. I guess if they were going to go for a change making the item itself a shell and letting the players choose the stats they need via a cogwheel gem type mechanic would make the gear almost completely universal...you just get a cloth/leather/mail/plate hull with say 2 primary cog slots, 2 gem slots, 1 secondary cog slot. The cog things wouldn't denote how much of the stat the item got, that would be determined by the ilvl of the shell...it would just be picking which stat went in the slot.
Would having each pally spec work off of INT instead of STR be that awkward? Then you have an entire class that uses something only one spec currently uses.
Anyone complaining about the loot that drops today, never raided MC and got showered with Warlock-only drops.
Vanilla stats were just really really strange. I remember being a bit confused with my Lock as to what stats were better. I don't remember Haste gear being very common either, not that it was nearly as useful then as it is now. Having spirit on everything was lolzy.
It makes sense.
int plate is mainspec for 1 spec offspec for 2int cloth (with spirit...thought this was obvious but aparetnly people around here aren't that smart) is mainspec for 2 specs offspec for 1int leather is mainspec for 2 specs offspec for ferals...you call that 1 or 2 int mail is mainspec for 2 specs offspec for 1Doesn't seem that wacky to me...yes int plate is the only one that is mainspec for 1 spec...but it is offspec for an additional spec than other int pieces so it evens out.
