Of course I won't believe this untill it's confirmed after today has passed. :p
Hmm... Who already has gear dye in their game? Oh wait, that's right! Rift.
THis announcement got me really impresseduntil all the april's fool jokes startedi indeed smirked on the rifthead announcement, enjoyable, but messing with something the players have been wanting since vanilla..Wowhead staff, this joke went way too far from being a joke, and you may loose something more than credibility for doing such, it would be sincere if you could tell us for once and for all if this is an april's fool joke or a sincere datamining.
I think WoW should have armor trimming
Hmm... Who already has gear dye in their game? Oh wait, that's right! Rift. You forgot Guild Wars, UO, AC, Warhammer, and many other games that also have dyes =P
it better not be. I would really like to see this implemented.
Biggest clue it's an AF joke: Tink has a Warglaive, which is silly, because on "The Guild" Tink is a hunter.
What's sad is there's really a Delicia Fay out there. She's the "archnemesis" to Felicia Day.
I.. Just... So much WANT!
I know this is probably a big April Fools joke from Blizzard, but it makes me hurt a little to think that. It's like telling someone their dog died. "HA! April Fools!"I hope this can be confirmed tomorrow as a real upgrade. People have been wanting something like this for YEARS.
Cool idea with the ink, but not worth shelling out thousands of gold to look slightly different.I love how blizz green lit the idea, but gave us the middle finger at the same time by charging ridiculous amounts of gold for customization. And yeah, before all the "OMGz you can totallyz getz 500 goldz in cata easy LOLOLOLOL" I would just like to say that gold for me isn't an issue, but I refuse to pay 500g for a new color so that I look like only 1/5th of the rest of the people running around in tier 11, not all of them.
If this is fake then I will be extremely sad, people would absolutely love this and I myself am ecstatic over the idea... Please be real :(Patch 4.1 is making me more and more excited with these additions.
Regardless if this is a joke or not, I should be rather pissed off either way. FIVE HUNDRED GOLD for one bottle of dye? Are you serious, Blizzard? At most it should be ... I don't know, FIVE gold.
Regardless if this is a joke or not, I should be rather pissed off either way. FIVE HUNDRED GOLD for one bottle of dye? Are you serious, Blizzard? At most it should be ... I don't know, FIVE gold.Oh I think it would be quite fair.Game needs more damn gold sinks anyways due to the bloody inflation.
this is for real guys this isn't april fools from blizz if you want that go here http://us.battle.net/wow/en/game/dungeon-helper/
I hope this is true, i would imagine that it is because if it was an april fools then they would have posted it on there main site.
Felicia's character in "The Guild" plays a Human, and Tink would obviously be a Blood Elf, not a Night Elf. Clear proof that this is an April Fool's joke.Or is it? Maybe this is just Blizz displaying their Horde bias once again?April Fools!Edit: Btw, the screen-shots of the supposed dye-jobs illustrate why this process would be inferior to an Appearance Tab. The dyed armors are muddy compared to the originals.
Of course I could be wrong but I think I remember Felicia Day mentioning something about being added as a WoW NPC about a month ago on Twitter. Could be legit.
Hmm... Who already has gear dye in their game? Oh wait, that's right! Rift.Too bad Rift sucks.
I am curious, on The Guild, Clara says that her frost mage is a gnome... Looks like a dwarf there. OMG... does that mean that...Will almighty VORK be coming to Azeroth?(Also, just to clarify The Guild would be Alliance, and obviously WoW played with that. Delicia Fay is the anti Felicia, hence the blood elf.)
