I would 100% buy this if I knew for definite the proceeds were going to help the people in Japan.
Somewhere right now, a certain self-centered draenei paladin tank with a ego the size of Mount Rushmore is swearing at blizzard for giving a cool mount through less than epic means...again...just like he did with the dark phoenix mount...It looks cool, I guess, but I'm not sure I would fork over cash for it, especially with my lack of enthusiasm with logging in recently...
Celestial Steed 2.0? GIEF!Very nice mount, would be supprised if some of the money made from this isn't going to help the cause of Japan, knowing Blizzard and the time this mount has been released. I would be supprised if some money didn't go to Japan! :)
I love how this is tagged "winning"
They keep adding all these pets/mounts that are digital only. When are they going to make another plushie? Everyone loves plushies!
Mark my words: even if they donate anything from the sales of this mount, it will NOT be 100% of the proceeds. They would never actually donate a 100% unconditionally. And I have made it a principle of mine not to buy anything from the Blizzard store. And even though I am a mount and pet collector, I have not veered away from that. Yeah, I realize I'm only one person versus millions who do buy stuff from their store but what else am I supposed to do?
its the lion from the Island of misfit toys. he just got a dye job
I would definitely buy it if it's for Japan...If it's not, depends on how it will look(this screenshot isn't something that can be used in my opinion to determine the look of this mount)..
Always remember, kids. Buying this mount makes you special. Just like everyone else. :D
That is a pretty awesome looking mount. With regards to everyone assuming that proceeds from the sale of this mount going to earthquake and tsunami relief in Japan, well...I hope it turns out that way. I'm going to get some marshmallows ready in the event they keep all the money for themselves. Consider this, they've already put out a pet this year with the proceeds going to charity (Moonkin Hatchling) & the money Reins of the Spectral Steed went straight to their coffers. Based on the number of them I see on my server they sold plenty, which I'm sure made the shareholders happy.Like I said, I hope I'm wrong on this. Even 1/5 of the $25 for the mount will be a sizable donation to the relief effort once everyone scrambles to buy the Reins of the Leonid Avenger.
I might actually be tempted by this...I'll not ever own an achievement or raiding mount due to my limited time. I haven't spent money on faction or server transfers so I might just spend £15 or whatever the exchange rate will work it out as. An early Father's Day treat for myself. If it does keep the yellowy-glowy-ness it would be perfect for my Holy Paladin.
Yum :) Need to figure out what occasion I can put this on my wish list for.
can't... stop... laughing...this looks so stupid :D
I might actually get this one. I think it looks pretty cool. Way better than sparkle pony IMO. I've only ever bought a plushie from the wowstore, but I might just buy this guy. Bonus if blizz does decide to donate proceeds.
Don't get left out! This is a limited addition in the Retarded mounts series. Gota catch em all!At least this one kinda fits in WoW with Uldum, where as TRH feels very out of place.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCjuFpQ3EeAI hope cynicalbrit makes another one for this mount. We can call it TRL.
