ipv6 is great i really like they are adding that....however i've noticed a trend where they don't seem to want to fix what is fundamentally wrong with WoW. No sense of urgency. Here we are and there's another threat to the whole world yet nothing is attacking our towns or cities, there aren't random raid parties appearing from time to time. The bosses aren't coming to us to kill us in our cities. There are no events outside of dungeons. What happened to the sense of urgency it is Cataclysm after all.
Ummmm, a normal week IS Sunday through Saturday.Ummmm, not everywhere. <.<

Ummmm, a normal week IS Sunday through Saturday.Ummmm, not everywhere. <.<For Blizzard it's Tuesday through Monday or Wednesday through Tuesday, for instance.=D
New info about it, and how the new Zandalari Dungeons affect it as well.
New info about it, and how the new Zandalari Dungeons affect it as well.Oh good...So you can't get Valor weekly capped through heroics alone (and before people say Blizzard is doing the math wrong, keep in mind they could put a hard cap on Valor earned from Heroics).
I'm wondering how this'll affect queue times. Specifically, the average queue times of a DPS (by him/herself) queuing at the beginning of the week, versus one queuing at the end. Also taking into consideration a previous patch note: The Dungeon Finder not stacking armor types (unless they got rid of that). This will not affect queue times at all. Every tank was doing 7 heroics a week before the change, and they will be doing 7 per week after the change. If a tank wants to do all their heroics on tuesday, then it just means 21 dps will get theirs done on tuesday and won´t be queueing later in the week. Queue times are all about the proportion of tanks to dps. No, that's wrong. Your logic assumes that there is an even proportion of tanks/dps spread throughout the week and that's not true. In an overall sense, you are correct that the average queue time will probably stay the same. But the variance in queue times will be much larger. The concern about wait times is legit. However, I don't think anyone knows how it will play out. Some people will be better off, some people will be worse off. It's difficult to say in advance what impact it will have on the game as a whole until people start adapting to the change.Sorry but yeah. I meant overall there should not be an increase in the áverage´ queue time. There already is a variance. I play mostly in the morning and the queues are 20 mins.. later at night they are 35 minutes. I don´t see how this will drastically alter either one. That said.. they released more news since this thread started. Apparently under the new system, non-raiders will be able to earn almost double the VP they can now per week if they do the two troll heroics. Keep in mind. Valor points will be buying 370ish gear and JP will be buying 359 gear. This makes it MUCH MUCH easier to tank the older heroics which are designed for lvl 333 gear. You will probably see a lot more dps gearing up their offsets and start tanking using their JP. Rememeber, the LFG tool came into being AFTER the wotlk heroics were already faceroll easy ( ie, people who would otherwise be hesitant to tank greatly outgeared them even with their offsets).2 weeks after 4.1 starts, the time it takes to do the current heroics will be down to 20 minutes and a lot of mechanisms will be ignorable.
