Rag still looks silly, whether he is gianormus or not, with those tiny little legs.
Anyone else find it odd that Blizzard is only just now posting a blog about the changes to questing, when the changes have been in the game for 3 months? I can see why they did the blog regarding the character pane, though - I doubt many people tried to re-arrange the stats.
Wow, we have some oracles. If you want to make a fight heroic, just add legs. But seriously, if Old God's had legs, we'd be so %^&*ing !@#$ed there are no words.
Hm, seems that everyone is very upset because Raggy now has legs. I know it looks weird and silly but it is not like they will add legs to every single creature that doesn't have them already (or so I hope).
So, people aren't allowed to have opinions lol? I'm sorry, but unless they thicken up the tiny little chicken legs, I'll be giggling even as we fight him; in his case, legs make him less scary. I like the rest of the look of the model, I just find the legs amusing.Edit: And seriously, makes me think of this scene for some reason.
are we REALLY getting upset about legs? With all the other things we could be complaining about I think Rag's Legs are the least of our worries....
I'm not upset about the legs; I just think they are silly looking.
Dude, Interest, you know that's all he says, right?
Having a horrible, naughty mind, whenever i see about "you only see His legs for a brief moment on heroic", im thinking hes actually walking to his old pair of.. erm.. legs, as if it where a mount and shutting a mini door, like some car, ready to drive and consume you on his tornado-like-lower partEdit: this works, too
I hope that the reason they are "rehashing" old content and putting stupid legs on bosses that never had them is because they are looking at the next generation of MMORPGs tbh. Rift has my attention now. My WoW account has been cancelled indefinatly. WoW is boring and the static nature of the content only makes it even more boring and monotenous. Blizzard need to have a long hard look at what they are doing here. Providing of course that they actually care. I have been playing Rift for a week now. I have yet to come across a random person who "saw the game in the shop and through I would try it". Everyone I have spoken to are mending their wounds from playing WoW. Friendships formed over 5 years have been relinquished. Blizzard, seriously....you need to look at this game. So many think that it needs an over haul. Until you update that engine and do something worthwhile with World Of Warcraft (sorry, sticking legs on a boss that never had them or rehashing old content to appease the masses does NOT cut the mustard), I will not be playing it. Your engine is over 6 years old. How many generations of PCs have we had in 6 years? Time will tell of course, but Rift deserves looking at, if nothing else, to see what IS possible with a MMORPG.
What's this? They're dumbing down quest mechanics? For shame! Why, in my days, we have to walk - yes walk - all the way to the quest giver to get the quest and turn it in (unlike you young whippersnappers with this newfangled "quest givers right at the dungeon entrance toomfoolery). And there are no markers or anything on the world map - we're supposed to depend on the vague directions and hope whatever bear-like creature we're attacking will drop the required bear asses.
