Actually they didn't nerf pet healing but instead pet feeding. You'll still be able to use Mend Pet while in combat in order to heal your pet once his/her health gets a bit low. Never fear, the tank-pets are still here!
Looks like buffs all around....kinda wish they had buff ele shams a bit before the patch is set, but Unlimited Chakra? attepting to balance out groups armor-wise? Not having to find courpes? RF though death? Hunter feeding not manditory? A+
/facepalm And I just found out where to buy level 85 pet food. Anyway, does it mention if the feed pet ability is avaliable for use in combat or is it just to reduce pet downtime.
Excited about the 100% pushback on the dr00d and priest yay for those, kinda surprised by more mage buffing but *shrugs* okay, RF through death YAY! But on the hunter's pets....this makes me sad. While it's not a huge game play change for me, it is a huge "roleplay" change. I try to get into my chars etc....and loved hunting and fishing for food with my pet trying to find the best to keep them happy, and didn't find it to be an issue in dungeons....just throw em some food after the pull and throw em some food before a boss....my 5 year old will be happy to not worry about it tho on his hunter >.<
Mage buffs, just bothered to read the other notes. I foresee... that an army of arcane mages will swarm PvP Land, and those in their ways will be pwn'd with no regret, no remorse and most of all, no mercy.
So many long overdue USEFUL changes. I can hardly contain myself. The Righteous Fury persisting through death has been a dream of mine since I started pally tanking. :D
These mage changes make me SO happy. Finally Arcane will be competitive. The biggest thing is the boost to Arcane Explosion damage, which means we finally have viable AOE and mobile damage. Of course you have to be up close and personal with the mobs, but...should make that stone crab phase of the first guy in Stonecore a bit easier!
