However, they should emphasize that they still plan to release Firelands as soon as possible, this would at least reduce the amount of whi... er "player complaints". We likely don't have to wait very long for "4.2"
" Too Soon, Executus, I still need to beat up Blizzard for giving me those stupid legs! "
He's spot on about the Crusaders' Coliseum.I don't feel like I've been given enough of a chance, as a semi-hardcore raid guild, to finish this content, so this feels like a stay of execution :)
My guild hasne't yet been able to finish the content.I'm more then happy for the extra time.Take time making it more awesome! and moar(!) hotfixes!
"YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!""TWO SHOES (too soon?) EXECUTUS!"
I wonder if this means we'll see more than 3 of the 4.x patches or if they only intend for a launch teir, second teir and end teir of raiding for the expansion. Also given that they seem to be going for more patches I hope they do end up still making multiple raids per teir launch together or very shortly after each other. I might not be raiding right now but it is always refreshing to know those who are very into the endgame content of raiding have plenty of things to do.
Definitely glad Blizzard postponed it, I still have yet to save up 1500 Conquest points to sell some Epic boots :D
Good move, glad Blizzard are thinking.
Yeah, this is a good thing. I'm liking the game much more these days because it's challenging again, even if too many tanks still think it's WOTLK
TOO SOON™! YOU HAVE AWAKENED ME TOO SOON, EXECUTUS!
Boo... heh.Well my casual little bunch just downed our 3rd (4th if you count BH) boss in cata content, so I'm definitely not lacking in stuff to do. I still see a huge opportunity gap though in them not providing level 85 equivalents to some of the older encounters: They could make the bosses drop weapon/armor tokens that would make your existing gear look like some of the favorite gears from the past. They could even do a caverns of time style schmo where you'd skip straight to the bosses, and/or have some kind of randomized rotation (IE you and your 9 best friends go in and get any random boss between vanilla and wrath, and can opts to recycle him after like 30 minutes if you haven't downed him yet. Could even do a gauntlet style like how many successful fights can you do before a wipe?I mean if they're going to recycle content, at least they could do it right.Seriously?
the lord of the Flames of Sulfuron demands a new pair of legs!maybe others, toopd: captcha: cockoldry anew(fix that!)
If they are not releasing raids with every patch, then I'm guessing we'lll probably get up to Patch 4.7 or 4.8.Also, I wonder if this means that 4.1 will get released earlier than slated since they don't have to worry about Firelands bugs and balancing. Finally, with ZA and ZG being released earlier, that will probably help some of the struggling guilds get some better gear and help speed up their progression.Overall, I think it's ok as long as 4.2 doesn't come too late (i.e. < 1 month) relative to when a combined 4.1 would have been released.
With this delay I REALLY wish blizzard would put something in to suck up or JP. Heck, what about a token for 2K - 10 of which will score you a new mount. ANYTHING so that it isn't a total waste of time, other than your 70 VP, to take guildees through the Heroics
Oh Blizzard... you tell us that we the player aren't prepared.... yet you hotfix, well.... everything. Still if it means the content will get cleaned up and it translates to less hotfixes? I'm all for it. I really think the new content has legs.
