I simply love the idea of No GY camping in WSG and the fact that you can't run straight back to your own flag room to defend. And the warlock CR...why havent it always been like that? :p
I really hope they don't add any restrictions to lower levels talking in trade, I have my bank alt for example which I use to do all my AH transactions because of ease. It'd just be a hassle, although not difficult to level to a certain point in order to do my daily tasks of buying in selling in trade chat.
Nice to get some consgructive feedback from not only the DK community but also Blizz. DK tanking is a very unique style and is difficult to really nail down in terms of rotation, cooldowns, and overall survivability. In contrast to how it worked in Wrath, and subsequently it's current incarnation, I think significant improvements have been made abd I look forward to what Blizz has in store for us.I admit that I kind of miss the easy mode Frost tank Howling Blast face roll tanking sometimes but I enjoy tanking far more now that it requires a flexibke rotation and crowd control. Good hunting to my fellow DK's and I'll see you at the DK Clubhouse.
Aww... So no Blood Runes as Death Runes for me :(?
The "Lvl1 muted in trade" is not that big of an issue. In my experience new players explore a little bit, make a few beginners quest, and level up within 30 minutes. They don't run to the nearest capital and start chatting in Trade. An experienced player wanting to make a trade / barking character can have it done in 10. Easily.
spam in /trade is one of those things that can be taken care of with addons. You never have to see it if you don't want to, but that the impetus to block it should be on the player's end, not Blizzard's. Install Badboy and you'll never see spam in /trade again.
The problem for DK tanks is that it requires much more skills and attention to be just as effective as other tanks. In most situations, you need to divide your attentions between controlling your character and observing the environment and boss skills. DK tanks are required to spend too much attention in manipulating skills and cds. This is just unfair for me. When I'm playing a paladin tank I can easily faceroll the skills and pay attention to other things, and this is almost impossible for DK tanks. Also AoE tanking is a big issue for DK tanks which is not addressed. And the low damage output of DK tanks.
Have to say I don't like the firelands delay AND the decision on JP/VP until 4.2......BLIZZARD - PLEASE GIVE US SOMETHING TO DO WITH OUR DAMM JUSTICE POINTSI have used them to fully gear up both spec and off spec on my main. 4000 just sit there in my bank. Few incentives to do content with my slightly behind guildees excpet those 70 VP and my interest in a month of grinding for 1 2100 VP piece is pretty limited (I do have a life)Solution - give us a way to exchange for Honor. Heck a 1000 JP for 250 Honor would be fine. Now I sure at some point I would be maxed out there but the lack of "JP sinks" in this expasnion is a glaring design flaw that I just don't understand how Blizzard misses. I get that class balancing is hard. It isn't hard to say "Jeez;....if we cap it people probably will want to spend them on something...lets put in a ridiculously expensive pet/mount SOMETHING to suck those up.)
Ending spam is not Blizzards responsibility. Because they cant end it. If lvl 1's were prohibited from speaking in trade channels, the spammers would simply move to level 2 or 10 or whichever level is "allowed to spam". Why? Because there is a market for it. To end the spamming, and this has been proven to work by a member in the EVE Online community, you need to go the spammers website contact them, and kindly explain to them how they are being annoying and how you would not wish to purchase anything from them. This is very powerful, and it will eventually lead to them to find another non-intrusive way of marketing themselves. Real money trading is here to stay so the key-word is co-existing however dreadfull that may sound to many - i have never RMT'ed personally, but i can see why people would do it, and as long as there is a market you cant stop it. Excactly same story as with the prohibiton of selling drugs. -People still find a way to do it. So to end spam, we must face the spammers directly and explain to them how they are hurting themselves... (No-one likes a spammer.) Go tell em.And by the way, i find the "Sorry you must wait untill you can post more in this channel" to be far more annoying than the eventual spammer. I mean, it didnt even solve the problem its still spammers galore. If they insist on this mutation, at least dont apply it to lvl 85's. They have far too much to loose to be spamming and annoying anyway, which will keep this to a very minimum at least.gl hf
Noooo. I like camping graveyards.
