Will roic ZG bring back Zandalar tribe rep?
I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I'm super psyched for the new 5 mans if for no other reason than gear from troll raids and dungeons is always awesome looking; especially bows and other ranged weapons. I can't wait for them to get the models up on the ptr so I can start /drooling. I hope they somehow reuse the timed run mechanic like they did for the warbear back in BC; the zerg chaos of those runs was always tons of fun. Keep those 5 mans churning out; I can only raid maybe a couple days a week, need new stuff to keep me rolling the other 5-6 days.
Anyone who used to raid it up in the Burning Crusades or vanilla WoW can see how dumb this is. Blizzards just being lazy now. Before Wrath it seemed like patches were actually patches in the sense that they actually had new content that would be fun for a while. Now they are just handing everyone free epics with the best stats and trying to buy time so they can keep up with player demands.Simple solution Blizzard: Release new things that will take 1-3 months for people to figure out and get good at. Don't feed the gamers every 5 minutes while you attempt to prepare a feast.
Whar's mah 4.1?
Blizzard wants as many people to experience content as possible. Vanilla WoW was a beast at expieriencing high end content. They even stated that 40 man raids were a bad idea when BC came out. And for all those who remember the original Naxx, it wasn't easy even to be able to get in the place, much less complete it. So, they revamped it for 80, lowered the raid numbers needed and made accessible to everyone who was able to go to it. That was a good re-release. Yeah, you may have done it at 60, beat K.T. and got the legendary staff, but a lot of people didn't. As for Onyxia, that was just an anniversary re-release of a fan favorite. As for ZG and ZA, at least for ZG it's all new encounters, so it's not really the same. ZA? Also another fan favorite, along with ZG. Yes they want people to have gear, so, like I said, at least you have a chance to see high end raid content. Additionally, for all of you who raided the Sunwell, it was hard even if you were geared for it. Personally, I think that's why WOTLK was easier. Didn't really need CC, just haste and blow stuff up. In Cata, at least they are making an effort to include CC. Free epics are "nice", but skill is better. After all, just because someone is decked out in purples doesn't mean that they are that good of a player, and I believe Blizzard is trying to return to that without making it too hard. It's a game that is constantly being improved upon. For instance, in BC the raid system was improved from vanilla. Kara, Gruul's and Mag's were the starting line. So, let's say that you starting playing when BT was opened. Most guilds would be progressed up to that point, so for you, by the time you got to 70, you would have to do all the heroics and previous raids in order to see it. Yeah, I know everyone else had to do it, but honestly, the faster people get geared, the faster we raiders get to get what we care about, killing whatever boss drops our best possible gear and getting it. So yeah, they made it easier to get geared so that you and I would be able to see Blizzard's handy work, and then of course kill it and stand upon it's dead corpse valiantly... And then take it's stuff and equip it... And then kill it again a week later.
